A little client feedback

This was a recent group trip I helped arrange in Reykjavik for the MCC International Cricket Tour. I love arranging group trips - whether it’s a big family adventure, a special celebration, a weekend away with friends or a sports tour.

Planning a group trip? Please do drop me a message, I'm always happy to chat!

THANK YOU!!

£500,000 of holidays booked in 15 months.
It’s a pretty big number and one I’m incredibly proud of.

But behind that number is a lot of people who trusted me with their holidays and to you I want to say thank you! Yes this is a number but behind it, is a lot of holidays!

The first solo holiday, the first time taking the family abroad, the big birthdays and anniversaries, the safaris and adventure trips before uni starts. Lots of trips for teenagers who are getting that little bit harder to please! And so many other trips that I’ve had the absolute pleasure of helping to plan.

Every booking represents someone trusting me with their holiday and believe me, I never take that trust for granted.

So this is really just a really big thank you.
Thank you to every client who has booked with me, come back to me, recommended me to friends and family, or simply told someone about Williscroft Travel.

You’ve helped me build something I’m incredibly proud of.

And thank you to the amazing All Things Team around me too.

Here’s to the next 15 months. I can’t wait to see where we’ll go!

I love a city break - here or abroad!

48 hours, a nice hotel, lots of great food, a fair amount of walking and home again!
And somehow you feel like you’ve really been away.

What’s not to like?!

The second city in my City Break Series is Rome!

Rome really isn’t a city to rush. It’s a city to experience.
Of course, you’ll want to see the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and those iconic sights and you absolutely should.

But don’t think you need to fill every minute of your trip ticking things off a list.

Leave time to wander down a street you didn’t plan to, stop for a coffee, eat some really good food, discover somewhere unexpected, learn something new and just soak up the atmosphere… because that’s when you really get to experience Rome.

Save this for your next Rome city break and if you want some of my favourite hotels, message me!

Think Lapland is just for little kids? Think again.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit Lapland twice. Once with my girls when they were little, when it was all about extending that Christmas magic😜 and once with a group of adults in a previous work life (are they still called jollies?! 😂).

And Lapland works brilliantly for older teens and adults too.

Think less ‘Santa and elves’ and more Arctic adventure, incredible scenery and a seriously memorable escape.

✨ Watch for the Northern Lights from your glass-roof room
🛁 Relax in your private outdoor hot tub and sauna
❄️ Explore the Arctic wilderness on a snowmobile safari - I can confidently say this is the BEST of fun!!
🐕 Meet the huskies on a private safari and farm visit
🌲 Discover places like Oulanka National Park with your own private guide

And the timing of this post might sound slightly odd given we’re only just thinking about ‘back to school or uni’… but these trips are already selling fast for this winter.

So if you’re looking for something a bit different - now’s the time to start looking

Drop me a message and I’ll help find what could work for you.

A luxury Madrid stay for the Spanish Grand Prix .

My clients are staying at Palacio de los Duques Gran Meliá, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, right in the heart of Madrid.

They’ve chosen a RedLevel room, which means it’s not just about the room. RedLevel guests also get access to a private lounge with breakfast, an open bar, tapas and snacks throughout the day, plus personalised service and concierge support.

A rather nice way to spend a Grand Prix weekend!

Wow you guys clearly love a city break! Loads of you voted in the recent poll on my Stories so thank you.

Budapest came out top…. by just one vote! It was close!

But I can see why, Budapest is one of those cities that seems to have a bit of everything.

Beautiful architecture, incredible food, thermal baths, a brilliant cafe and bar scene, the Danube running through the middle and all without the price tag of some of Europe’s bigger cities. Plus of course there’s that wonderful Christmas market ahead of us.

Would Budapest be on your city break list?

Follow along for more city break inspiration and if Budapest has made you curious, let me know in the comments!

I can’t wait to visit Kraków in September!

I’ve been putting together my list of things to see, places to explore and of course very importantly where to eat!

Here are a few things I’m already planning to add to the itinerary.
