🥳Please join Team Marmot in wishing our colleague 🌟CATHERINE🌟 a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY today!🎂​🎈

When it comes to managing our hotel 🛏️ and restaurant🍴relations, Catherine is our rock - she genuinely deserves a medal!🏅 We require multiple hotels per trip, and need to book rooms for ~20 cyclists for a single night at a time, a year in advance. This is a remarkably challenging task - many hotels won't even take such bookings, regardless of how much we're prepared to pay! What's more, with 30 different itineraries, ~80 departures a year, plus a multitude of other requirements (best location for our routes, dietary requirements catered for, facilities on offer, etc) this is a tough brief and a complex algorithm that must be navigated🤯

🫶Catherine? She works tirelessly to overcome the challenges we face and for the most part, keeps smiling! We're perpetually thankful to have her in the Marmot office.

This is a remarkable achievement cycling through the mountains of 🇫🇷France, 🇨🇭​Switzerland and 🇮🇹Italy, and one of the toughest tests for even the fittest road cyclists💪.
