A Note on Our Love for Clyde Wildlife 🐣🦆
Meet our newest little passenger! We spotted this baby seagull in trouble on the water and stepped in to get it to safety.
As a wee business operating on the River Clyde, caring for our local river life is a huge part of who we are. We’ve recently seen a few comments alleging that our boats operate unsafely around river birds, and we want to set the record straight directly.
*Strict Safety: Our skippers adhere to strict safe speed limits and always slow down or alter course to give birds and wildlife the right of way.
*Zero Incidents: We have never struck or harmed wildlife on our runs.
*Hands-On Rescue: From gull chicks like this one to fully grown swans, pigeons, baby seals, we routinely spend time and resources rescuing local wildlife and transporting them to the amazing team at Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue in Beith.
