A brilliant couple of days in Leeds recently attending our Spring Conference ✈️

It was fantastic to catch up with colleagues, meet with suppliers and hear all about the latest developments across the travel industry. We also took part in supplier matchmaking sessions which are such a valuable opportunity to make industry relationships and discover even more options for my clients.

One of the highlights had to be an incredible evening at Tattu Leeds - amazing food and a beautiful setting! 🍽️

On day two, we were hosted by Jet2.com & Jet2holidays at their impressive HQ, ‘Holiday House’, where we enjoyed some really insightful sessions from their trade team followed by sessions with Widgety and Oli from Trending Travel, covering everything from travel trends and content creation to customer engagement and the future of the industry.

Events like these are so important as they allow me to continue building knowledge, strengthening supplier relationships and ultimately bringing even more expertise, inspiration and choice to my clients when planning their holidays.

A little bit of Disney magic in London last week ✨

I had the pleasure of spending the day at The Walt Disney Company HQ in London for a training event with Disney Destinations and Do Something Different.

The morning was packed with insightful updates and training, helping travel specialists like me stay up to date with everything Disney so we can create truly magical trips.

It was also great to learn more about the vast range of tickets, attractions and excursions available through Do Something Different, from theme park tickets and unique experiences to memorable day trips that can really enhance a holiday.

After a lovely lunch, we were treated to a screening of the new Disney film Hoppers (with popcorn of course 🍿) - a brilliant way to spend the afternoon!

The day ended with a very competitive round of Disney Bingo, where I somehow managed to win the main prize 🎉

A big thank you to the teams at Disney Destinations and Do Something Different for such a fun and informative day.

Days like this are a great reminder of how lucky I am to work in an industry that’s all about creating unforgettable experiences.
