Shanty crews from all across the UK will be descending on beautiful Ilfracombe to fill the town’s venues with powerful harmonies, traditional songs of the sea, and plenty of pirate spirit! ⚓🍻

The first guided walk of Ilfracombe Coast Week takes place Tuesday evening, leaving from the Jonathan Edwards mosaic next to The Landmark at 6pm, and hosted by North Devon Ramblers. Join them to explore Hillsborough, Hele Mill and Chambercombe.
(No need to book).

Lace up your walking boots for Ilfracombe Coast Week!

From coast path views and local stories to evening walks and ghostly harbour tales, there are some brilliant guided walks to help you discover Ilfracombe from a fresh perspective.

🥾 Tuesday 2nd June, 6pm
Join North Devon Ramblers for a free guided evening walk taking in Hillsborough, Hele Mill and Chambercombe. No charge, no need to book, just turn up. Meet at the Jonathan Edwards mosaic next to The Landmark

🌿 Wednesday 3rd June, 6.30pm
Wander Women North Devon are leading a free guided walk for women, from the Torrs to Slade Reservoir and back. No charge and no need to book. See https://www.facebook.com/events/1531773921271266/

👻 Thursday 4th June, 8pm
Explore the darker side of the harbour with a bookable Ilfracombe Harbour Ghost Tour from Devon History Tours. Book via their website.

🌊 Friday 5th June, 1.30pm
Step out with the North Devon National Trust for a guided walk around the Torrs, with dramatic coastal views, wildlife, landscape stories and insight into how this special place is cared for.
