Shropshire Raft Tours Ltd Canoe, kayak, mega SUP and mini-raft hire on the river Severn.

Shropshire Raft Tours welcomes you to our canoe/kayak hire, mini raft hire and mega stand up paddle board hire along the beautiful River Severn located in Coalport, Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire.

Your 7 mile trip starts in Coalport, Ironbridge Gorge. We provide all the equipment including free minibus transport. We allow up to 4 hours to paddle the route which gives you time to enjoy the beautif

ul Shropshire countryside and enjoy a picnic break as you float along.

For our 10am and 11am trips, after parking your car in Severn Park, Bridgnorth our free minibus shuttle will transport you up river to the start point in Coalport.

In addition to enjoying a river trip you can also enjoy a breakfast at The Brewery Inn in Coalport beforehand on our first trip of the day. After parking your vehicle in Coalport, your table will be waiting for you at The Brewery Inn where you can spend an hour enjoying your freshly cooked breakfast. (Please note that the cost of breakfast is not included in the hire and you will pay this to The Brewery Inn on the day. Pre-ordering of food is not required however we will reserve a table for you ). Dogs are welcome however you will need to sit outside on the terrace overlooking the river.

After paddling down river your trip finishes in Severn Park, Bridgnorth where your vehicle is parked. There are lots of cafes, pubs and shops in the historic market town of Bridgnorth to enjoy or you can sit and relax in Severn Park by the river.

For our breakfast club customers we will transport you back from Bridgnorth to your vehicle in Coalport at the end of your trip.

You can choose from a double or single sit-on-top kayak or a 2/3 seater canoe. Our mini-rafts are especially popular with families with children who prefer to all be in the same boat, and can fit between 2 and 5 people (minimum of 2 adults per raft). If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous then have a go on our mega stand up paddleboard which holds between 5-8 people.

We welcome children from the age of 4 and over on our canoe, kayak and mini-raft hire and children over the age of 10 on our mega SUP hire.

A New Chapter at The Brewery Inn...

We’re George & Ben joint business partners; and we’re incredibly proud to be the new owners of The Brewery Inn here in Coalport.

This building has always held a special place in the hearts of locals and visitors alike, and it’s impossible to talk about its story without mentioning Roger Hotchkiss. Roger left a lasting legacy here, and we’re truly honoured to be continuing the journey he helped shape.

Now, it’s time for a new era.

We’re currently in the middle of a full transformation; and while we’re keeping the final details under wraps for now, let’s just say this isn’t your typical renovation.
New spaces, a fresh identity, and something very special coming to life on the edge of the River Severn.

We’ll be announcing our grand opening date very soon; but until then, we’d love you to follow along as we share the progress and a few behind-the-scenes glimpses of what’s to come.

Here’s to the future of The Brewery Inn; one we can’t wait to share with you.
