The beauty of a seed head and a ‘messy’ garden 💚

These last couple of weeks we’ve been visited by Marsh t**s enjoying the knapweed seed heads in our garden. I was sad that the flowers didn’t last very long in the heat but loving the fact that it’s brought these feathered beauties in 🐦 🌱 💚

Keep trying to get a photo but I’m too slow first thing in the morning so just enjoying watching them instead 😊

Another fun day delivering some teacher training with Morecambe Bay Partnership on the coast of Morecambe Bay 💚

Some interesting finds in the rock pools and on the shoreline - can you spot the real wildlife??

Lovely to be back at South Walney Nature Reseve preparing for an upcoming private tour 💚

13 years ago I was the Warden here - a memorable season looking after the reserve, protecting a variety of breeding birds and the seal colony. It’s changed a bit in that time but still a peaceful place to immerse yourself in nature. Looking forward to sharing with my visitors 🐦 🌺 🦭 🐝
