Mundus on the road – Africa in the spotlight.

We’ve been on the road visiting agencies across the country all week, sharing why Africa works so incredibly well for groups and incentives – and showcasing just how much this incredible continent has to offer.

From the energy of Cape Town and the Winelands, to unforgettable safari experiences, the thundering waters and smoke of Victoria Falls and Livingstone and the calm and serenity of Namibia.

From Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe, to the spectacular Masai Mara migration and the incredible backdrop of Kilimanjaro – Africa offers endless possibilities for memorable group experiences.

Did anyone mention Zanzibar?

We’ve been sharing new hotel openings and additions, exciting activities, unique experiences and plenty of ideas to inspire the next group or incentive programme.

And, of course, it’s been a week filled with wonderful meetings, breakfasts and lunches, reconnecting with old friends and meeting new faces along the way.

Last night we were delighted to join IHG for their showcase at the fabulous Kimpton Fitzroy London – another fantastic evening of connections and inspiration - thank you so much for having us.

A few more catch-ups today and then we’re heading to the M&IT Awards tonight. We can’t wait!.

Mundus on the road – Day 1

What a fabulous first day of our sales mission with our amazing DMC partner Kerry from Green Route Africa.

A day filled with great connections, meaningful conversations, exciting new programmes and plenty of inspiration for what’s ahead.

We love being on the road, meeting our wonderful event industry friends face to face and sharing the incredible experiences our 13 African destinations can offer.

Now, onto Day 2 — we can’t wait!

We finish our week at the M&IT Awards on Friday night.

Our diary is packed with sales calls, catch-ups and a few celebrations along the way, as Kerry shares all the latest updates on what’s new and what’s happening across Africa.

Manchester is calling…

We have a few seats left!

Later this month, Mundus Representation is heading north for CHS Manchester — and we’d love you to come along with us.

We’ve partnered with Vine Tree to bring a fabulous group of hosted buyers to Manchester for much more than just a day at the show.

We’ll arrive on 29 September for an afternoon of activities, drinks and the CHS pre-show party, followed by an overnight stay at the fantastic Treehouse Manchester — our home for the night.

Then on 30 September, it’s off to the iconic AO Arena for a full day at CHS Manchester, connecting with over 300 UK and European venues and event suppliers, discovering new ideas and catching up with industry friends.

Two days to experience Manchester, make new connections, spend quality time together and have some fun along the way.

Because for us, it’s never just about attending the show — it’s about Building Deeper Connections.

MUNDUS WITH ACCESS MOROCCO

Saturday was all about celebrating success, looking to the future, sharing ideas, learning, training and most importantly, spending time together outside the usual work environment.

It was such a pleasure to spend the day with the amazing team at Access Morocco, our award-winning DMC here in Morocco, at the beautiful Royal Mansour Casablanca.

A day of inspiration and motivation, team building, education and plenty of laughter along the way.

It was a real honour to be invited as a guest speaker and to have the opportunity to share some of my experiences, insights and ideas — but equally, I came away having learned so much from this fantastic team.

Great partnerships are built on great people, shared experiences and a common ambition to keep moving forward.

And what better way to finish the day than celebrating together?

A delicious dinner followed by a nightcap at Ruby’s in Casablanca — the perfect end to a brilliant day.

MUNDUS IN CASABLANCA

Discovering what’s new in Casablanca…

Our last visit was back in 2021, and wow — what a difference! Casablanca has welcomed some amazing new additions, and today we had the chance to explore some of them.

First stop: Marriott Casablanca Downtown — a smart, contemporary business hotel with 305 rooms and suites, perfectly suited to corporate groups.

Then onto The Hideaway by Barceló — only eight months old and already making an impression. With 310 bedrooms and suites, the product is gorgeous and it’s easy to see why it has been so well received.

Next, Villa Sarrai — 56 beautifully designed bespoke units. Having visited the brand in Fez previously, it felt reassuringly familiar, yet still wonderfully authentic, elegant and distinctly Moroccan.

And then… The Royal Mansour.

Well… keeping the best until last!

This jaw-droppingly beautiful hotel is almost worth a visit to Casablanca just to experience it. 146 rooms and suites, a dedicated menswear grooming floor with barber and pampering, a beautiful spa, Michelin-starred gastronomy, stunning event spaces and a four-bedroom Presidential Suite that was quite simply out of this world.

And the wine cellar? You could quite happily get lost down there!

If you’re in Casablanca, put the Royal Mansour on your list.

Mundus at The Event Society

Yesterday, Mundus joined The Event Society in Marlow for our first round table – and what a great afternoon of conversation and connection.

Together with a fantastic group of event professionals, we explored the role of a representation company and DMC, giving agencies the opportunity to ask questions and have open conversations around buying power, terms & conditions, and why having the right DMC on the ground can make such a difference to your event.

A lively discussion, plenty of great questions and lots of ideas shared around the table.

And as we were surrounded by the beautiful English countryside at Oaken Grove Vineyard, there was only one way to finish – a wine tasting followed by a delicious BBQ!

Thank you to The Event Society for having us and for bringing together such a great group of event professionals.
