We don’t just take students to see the world - we’re working to make sure there’s still a world for them to see. 🎓🌱
The theme for World Environment Day 2026 is . The students we take on tour today are the climate leaders of tomorrow.
For us, being ‘eco-friendly’ isn’t just about digital itineraries. It’s about choices in our logistics:
Route optimisation: using high-efficiency coaches (like our recent Utrecht tour) to lower emissions.
Green accommodation: partnering with hostels and hotels, like Stayokay, that prioritise waste reduction and local sourcing.
Supporting local: ensuring our school groups and students support local artisans, local providers of accommodation and local communities through hiring local reps and tour managers.
Working with partners to improve sustainability: such as tree planting in Hungary for each group who travels with our partner agency .io Cherry Travel Services, helping to reforest local wilderness.
We’re constantly looking for ways to make school tours ‘greener’. What’s one sustainable travel initiative you’ve seen work well in education?
