Loads of deer seen on Thursday with my guests, lots of stags roaring to tell the others to stay clear, a bit of chasing brave stags away and young males and females happy to not be involved yet.

Lovely ride yesterday with my 2 guests from Delaware USA, after holidaying in Wales, Scotland and England they finished off with my Royal Deer Park Bike Tour in Zone 4 in South West London just a short train ride from central London.

The day changed completely by noon for my guests! Standing a good distance away from these Red Deer in we could watch 2 young males practice sparring. We then realised there were 2 deer behind us, it's a wonderful time to visit in October, and we still have autumnal colours to come!

It was a foggy start yesterday for my guests Royal Deer Park Bike Tour! They were from Richmond, Virginia which was named when city founder William Byrd stopped and enjoyed this view in the 18th C. The vista to the James River is sadly not protected by an act of parliament as is this one looking down to the River Thames.
