THE VINETA X SAINT-LOUIS: COCKTAIL HOUR IN FRENCH CRYSTAL 🥂

Palm Beach has always taken cocktail hour seriously, and at The Vineta Hotel, it is now served in French crystal.

Saint-Louis, the French crystal house founded in 1586, has brought José Lévy’s Les Endiablés collection to The Bar. The pieces feature vibrant colours and are playful in form, with each handmade in France. They sit naturally within Tino Zervudachi’s restoration of The Bar, alongside handwoven Pierre Frey fabrics and plume marble tables.

The Bar team has also created six cocktails for the collaboration, each served in its own glass. Among them are the Seanré with Redbreast 27 Year, a Vieux Carré made with Macallan 25 and Louis XIII, and the Martini au Litchi with Hibiki 21 and Roku gin.

If you’d rather stay in, the full menu is available through in-room dining in all 41 rooms and suites, delivered on a silver tray.

Born in Como, Valentina holds a Master of Science in General Management and began her career at Bain & Company, working across the fashion and luxury sectors. In 2010, the year Grand Hotel Tremezzo marked its centenary, she joined the family business, acquired by her grandfather in 1975, to shape its sales and marketing strategy, bringing fresh perspective to generations of expertise.

Her vision has since taken Passalacqua, the family’s 18th-century villa in Moltrasio, to the world stage. Valentina, together with her parents, has been the personal force behind the villa, hand-picking every exquisite detail. The estate reflects her deep passion for Italian craftsmanship: hand-blown glass chandeliers, lovingly restored frescoes and mirrored secret mini bars, with no two suites alike. It feels less like a hotel than a private home. Under Valentina’s leadership, Passalacqua took the No.1 spot in the World’s 50 Best Hotels list in 2023 and was named Best Hotel in Europe and Best Boutique Hotel in 2026, for the third-year running. 🇮🇹LA RÉSERVE FIRENZE IS NOW OPEN 🇮🇹

Six private apartments in a 15th-century palazzo on Via Santo Spirito, in the heart of Florence’s Oltrarno.

La Réserve Firenze opens today, La Réserve’s first address in Italy. Each apartment, from one to three bedrooms and 180–210 sqm, is designed as a private Florentine residence, with a library devoted to Italy, art and design, a billiards room and a shaded patio for guests to share. The three-bedroom apartment has its own rooftop terrace overlooking Santo Spirito and the Palazzo Pitti. 🌿

Owners Olivia and Grégory Marciano spent four years restoring the palazzo with Gilles & Boissier. Frescoes, coffered ceilings and carved woodwork, restored by hand by Florentine craftsmen, now sit alongside Siena travertine bathrooms, cotto floors and art from the couple’s own collection.

Room service comes from Cammillo, just along the street, and the Marcianos open their own address book to guests: a private visit to the Church of Ognissanti, where Botticelli is buried, the atelier of one of Florence’s oldest violin-making families, a historic Chianti estate, and tennis among the olive trees at their home ten minutes away.
