What a fantastic evening at the Group Leisure & Travel Magazine Awards 2026 in London on Friday ✨

🌿 Discovering the Great Gardens of Snowdonia & Anglesey 🌿

This week travellers stepped into a world of breath-taking landscapes, extraordinary gardens, and horticultural inspiration on our Great Gardens of Snowdonia & Anglesey Tour.

Set against the dramatic scenery of Snowdonia National Park, this journey showcased some of North Wales’ most beautiful and distinctive gardens. Thanks to the region’s unique maritime climate, they encountered an exceptional variety of plants from around the globe, many rarely seen elsewhere in the British Isles.

Guided by our resident expert horticulturalist and convivial host Tony Russell, travellers explored some exquisite gardens nestled within magnificent estates, enjoyed stunning coastal vistas, and experienced the remarkable charm of Portmeirion—an architectural masterpiece unlike anywhere else.

🇬🇷📸 Greetings from Northern Greece!

Our Snapshot of Northern Greece tour is off to a fantastic start, with plenty of memorable moments already along the way.

We've enjoyed exploring the vibrant city of Thessaloniki before returning each evening to beautiful Perea, where our hotel sits right on the beachfront, offering stunning views across the Thermaic Gulf.

A special highlight was our visit to Marianna's Vineyard, where we were warmly welcomed by the owner and treated to a fascinating insight into the cultivation and harvesting of vine leaves. Of course, the experience wouldn't have been complete without sampling a delicious plate of freshly made dolmades!

We've also wandered through the charming town of Arnea, known for its traditional Macedonian architecture and relaxed atmosphere. And, in true Greek countryside fashion, our journey there included an unexpected goat traffic jam—a reminder that some delays are far more enjoyable than others! 🐐😄

With Meteora, Epirus, and more incredible scenery still to come, we're looking forward to sharing more highlights from this wonderful journey through Northern Greece.

🏺✨ A Journey Through the Heart of The Potteries ✨🏺

What an incredible few days exploring the rich ceramic heritage of Staffordshire last week.

Accompanied by expert guide Dr Maddie Hewitson, our travellers discovered the stories, craftsmanship and innovation behind some of Britain's most iconic pottery brands. Highlights included visits to the Wedgwood Factory and V&A Wedgwood Collection, the Middleport Pottery—home of Burleigh—and the historic Gladstone Pottery Museum.

From seeing traditional pottery-making methods still in use today to enjoying a hands-on clay workshop, the tour offered a fascinating insight into the industry that made Stoke-on-Trent world-famous.

The London River Walk 🇬🇧

Stepping into centuries of British history as we followed the Thames from Hampton Court to Woolwich on The London River Walk. This demanding but rewarding journey revealed royal palaces, iconic museums, and hidden architectural treasures along one of the world’s most historic rivers.

Travellers discovered the Gothic beauty of Strawberry Hill House and experienced the breath-taking Painted Hall — often called Britain’s answer to the Sistine Chapel.

This was more than a walk — it was an immersive adventure along the Thames, where every mile revealed another chapter of London’s past.

From winding mountain passes to the UNESCO-listed red granite cliffs of Calanques de Piana, our recent Corsican Charm Island Tour was a journey through some of the Mediterranean’s most breath-taking landscapes.

Travellers explored the artisan villages of the Balagne region, sailed to the remote shores of Girolata, and wandered the medieval streets of Bonifacio perched dramatically above white limestone cliffs. Hidden coves, coastal beauty, and authentic island culture made every moment unforgettable. 🌿⛵🏔️
