🏰 Why do we love Disney so much?

People often ask us why we're so passionate about Disney holidays.

The truth is... it started long before we ever visited the parks.

Like so many people, we grew up watching the films. Whether it was The Lion King, Toy Story, Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast, Disney was a big part of our childhood.

Then you visit the parks for the first time...

There's something difficult to explain about it.

It's the music playing as you walk down Main Street, the smell of popcorn and freshly baked treats drifting through the air, the excitement of seeing Cinderella Castle, and the feeling that, just for a little while, the outside world fades away.

For those few days, the emails, deadlines, bills and everyday worries don't seem quite so important.

You simply enjoy being in the moment.

That's why we love helping people plan Disney holidays.

✈️ I have one weird travel habit...

Before every trip, I have to check my passport about five times.

I know it hasn't magically disappeared since I checked it 30 seconds earlier... but I still check again. 😂

Jordan is the organised one. She'll have everything packed days in advance.

I'm the one wandering around the house asking:
"Have you seen my sunglasses?" 😅

We all have that one travel habit.

Some people have to get to the airport four hours early.

Some people overpack "just in case."

Some people won't fly without downloading films first.

🦞 I looked like a lobster... and it taught me a lesson.

When I was 18, I went to Tenerife thinking the biggest challenge would be deciding which cocktail to order.

Instead, I got badly burned, ended up in the hospital, and the people I was travelling with had to fly home without me.

I genuinely looked like a lobster. 🦞

Thankfully, I'd taken out travel insurance.

It covered my medical treatment, helped with the arrangements, and made sure I could get home safely once I was fit to travel.

At 18, I never thought I'd actually need it. Most of us don't.

But that's the thing about travel insurance—you hope you never use it. If you do, you'll be glad you have it.

We'll always recommend making sure you have the right cover before you travel. It's one of the least exciting parts of planning a holiday, but it can end up being one of the most important.
