What a truly wonderful beginning to our Samos season 🌿☀️

Our first week has been filled with such joy, laughter, fellowship and lovely moments together. From beautiful times of worship and ministry to the laughter echoing across the pool during aqua aerobics! Every day has brought fresh blessings and happy memories. 💙

We’ve enjoyed exhilarating joy rides, stunning excursions around the island, a brilliant regatta, and peaceful little coffee stops in Psilli Amos. And of course… keeping our eyes peeled to spot a flamingo or two along the way! 🦩

Most of all, it has been so lovely to share this special time together - encouraging one another, making new friendships, and enjoying God’s beautiful creation in such wonderful company.

🚴‍♂️ Two Exciting Holidays for 2026 & 2027 🌸

We’re delighted to share that our brand-new Cycling Holiday in Mallorca with Matthew Brearley and Tim Matthews is now available to book!

Following three successful Multisports holidays together, Matthew and Tim will be leading our very first dedicated cycling holiday on the stunning island of Mallorca from 26 September – 03 October 2026.

Expect beautiful coastal rides, excellent company, daily devotions with Tim, and a rewarding week of cycling in one of Europe’s most iconic riding destinations.

This holiday is designed for confident road cyclists who enjoy longer days in the saddle and are looking forward to an active week together.

Today, Debi shared an encouraging reflection with us on the significance of Pentecost from Acts 2:1-4:

"When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Long before this moment, Pentecost was an Old Testament feast celebrating the harvest and commemorating God meeting His people at Mount Sinai. But in this upper room, a new covenant began. Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus made final reconciliation between God and His people - and He left them with the gift of the Holy Spirit.

What really struck us, is that the disciples' preparation for this profound moment was simple and quiet. They were asked only to sit, wait, and remain in steady obedience to what Jesus had commanded.

May this bring rest to your soul today. The very same Holy Spirit is with us now! We do not have to strive or rely on our own strength. As we quietly wait on the Lord, He promises to meet us and provide exactly what we need through His Spirit. 💙

What a fantastic start to the season here in beautiful Samos! ☀️

Yesterday we welcomed our very first guests of the season to resort, with even more arrivals joining us today - the atmosphere is already buzzing and it’s shaping up to be an amazing week ahead!

This morning started perfectly with relaxing stretch sessions led by Ana - an ideal way to ease into the day. Afterwards, many headed off either on foot or by bike to Psili Amos, enjoying coffee in the sunshine and making the most of the stunning scenery along the way ☺

Down at the watersports centre, we’re excited to have a fantastic range of brand-new beginner-to-intermediate windsurf equipment this season, making it easier than ever to take those first steps into this exciting sport!

Our sailing boats have had an upgrade too, with many new sails added! - It's all looking super smart and ready for plenty of fun out on the water! ⛵🌊

Here’s to a brilliant first week filled with sunshine, adventure, and great company! 💙

Adam has just returned from an exciting week with the resort team, and preparations for summer 2026 are looking better than ever - from upgraded watersports equipment and brand-new e-bikes to an amazing team ready to welcome guests to the island!

This morning in our Bible study, Rebecca brought a real encouragement from Proverbs 16:9:

“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” - Proverbs 16:9

It was such a lovely reflection this morning because this verse speaks into everyday life so powerfully. We all carry hopes, plans, worries, and expectations for the future. Yet Proverbs 16:9 gently calls us to hold those plans with open hands, trusting that God sees what we cannot. Sometimes He redirects our steps not to hinder us, but to lead us somewhere better, deeper, or more fruitful than we imagined ourselves.

There was a real sense of encouragement in remembering that faith is not about having every step mapped out perfectly - it is about walking closely with the One who does. Even in uncertainty, disappointment, or change, God is still establishing our steps with wisdom, grace, and love.

A beautiful reminder to begin this week trusting not only in our plans, but in the God who faithfully guides them. ✨🙏

Did someone say E-BIKES?! 🚴‍♂️✨

This year, we’re so excited to introduce our brand-new e-bikes!

If you fancy a beautiful ride around the island and want a little extra help, our e-bikes are ready to make exploring even more fun and accessible for everyone. 🌿☀️

The team have also been hard at work extending the bike centre to make room for our newest additions… and we think it’s looking pretty good! 👏

Of course, Adam and the team had to test the bikes out first and it's safe to say there were plenty of smiles (and maybe a little racing!) involved!

We can’t wait to see you out here this summer! 🚴💨

Bekky shared a thoughtful reflection in our morning Bible study:

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things.” - Philippians 4:8

What makes Paul's words truly resonate is remembering his own reality as he wrote them - not from a peaceful retreat, but from the confines of a prison cell. He was facing an uncertain future, yet his instruction was to deliberately fill his mind with the light. His focus wasn't dependent on his circumstances being good, but on his God being good.

It isn't about ignoring hardship, but about intentionally creating space in our minds for what is good. It's a small act of faith to choose the lovely over the loud, the pure over the panicked. It’s taking a moment to breathe and remember that because God is good.

A beautiful challenge for the rest of the week: to find the lovely, the admirable, the praiseworthy, and to simply think on these things. 💙

This morning, Beth shared an encouraging reflection on 2 Corinthians 5:17:

“If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

In this passage, Paul speaks about reconciliation - how, through Jesus, our relationship with God is fully restored. This isn’t about small changes or self-improvement; it’s about complete transformation. The old life is gone, and a brand-new identity has been given.

Beth reflected on the tension we often feel between the “old” and the “new” - how we don’t always feel like a new creation. She compared it to the changing of seasons. In winter, everything can look dull, quiet, even lifeless… yet beneath the surface, roots are growing and life is forming, hidden from view, long before spring appears.

Spring doesn’t create new life - it reveals what’s already been happening!

And that’s the heart of what Paul is saying. When he writes “the new is here,” it’s not something we need to strive for or try harder to become - it’s something God has already done within us through Christ.

You are made new 🌱💙
