Westwood House Self Catering Lyme Regis Westwood is a Whole House House in Lyme Regis with parking and sea views for 16+ Guests All rooms feature large en-suites with showers.

Each room has been individually designed to be comfortable, relaxing and features stunning views from every aspect. From the front of the house you can look over Lyme Bay, right across to Portland Bill and from the rear of the house you can enjoy wonderful woodland views. Our premier rooms are on the ground floor and have Super King beds, French doors open leading you onto the balcony decking where you can relax enjoy your breakfast in the morning or a glass of something in the evening, our standard rooms all have King size beds or there are Twin rooms available, each one offers a host of features such as: flat screen TV’s, hairdryers, iron and ironing boards. On arrival you will find fresh milk in your own fridge, in addition, there’s a safe for your valuables... just the right size for your laptop. And talking of laptops, the whole of the house is totally ‘wi-fied’ enabling you to stay in touch whenever you take your holiday break. We are in a quiet residential area but only a short walk to sea front and shops and a host of fabulous restaurants and pubs.

Nighttime Lyme✨ Yesterday evening on the beach, looking across towards the Harbour Inn and Poco Pizza.

There’s something rather special about Lyme Regis after dark with the the sound of the sea and the twinkling waterfront creating a completely different atmosphere.

The historic Belmont building with the Cobb in the background. Belmont is an 18th-century maritime villa which was once the home of Eleanor Coade, businesswoman and inventor of Coade Stone, and later of author John Fowles, who wrote The French Lieutenant’s Woman.

This weekend you have the chance to explore Belmont as part of Heritage Open Days. Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th Sept, 10am – 4pm. The local ‘Powder Monkeys’ sea scouts will be providing refreshments in the garden.

You also have the opportunity to view inside the Guildhall, one of Lyme’s most iconic buildings, standing on the site by the corner of Church Street and Bridge Street. Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th, 10am – 4pm.

The Bank Holiday weekend is fast approaching and come rain or shine we have plenty to see and do here!

The Mill will be open every day over the Bank Holiday, come along and watch the millers at work, see flour milling demonstations, plus activity trails are available for children. You can visit us 11am - 3pm (11am-130pm Sunday) and it's always FREE ENTRY to visit.

There is lots more to explore on site while you are here with our beautiful millers garden to enjoy, a fabulous exhibition of Sea, Shore & More to view in our art gallery, a lovely selection of creative, artisan shops to browse and Lyme Regis Brewery and Strawberry Tree for your refreshments.
