🏃‍♀️🎨 What a day for the North East!

Today marked 45 years of the Great North Run being at the heart of North East England — and what better way to celebrate than with a look at the work of one of Newcastle’s most recognisable street artists, Mul.

If you’ve spent any time exploring Newcastle, chances are you’ll have spotted one of his colourful characters bringing walls and spaces across the city to life. 👀🎨

And today, Mul added to the collection with a special piece celebrating 45 years of the Great North Run. ❤️

A brilliant celebration of creativity, culture and an event that means so much to our region. Huge congratulations to everyone who took part today! 👏🏅
