If you have ever wanted to see a Golden Eagle cruising a mountain ridge or an otter hunting the shoreline, then you have an excellent chance of making your dream come true on one of our day tours around the dramatic Isle of Skye.Your Tour Guide is Andy McLean who has been studying and photographing the wildlife of North West Scotland for over 30 years. Bring binoculars if you have them although we do have some you can borrow. Visiting various habitats we have a chance to see:-

Golden Eagles, Otters, White-Tailed Sea Eagles, Basking Sharks, Dolphins, Hen Harriers, Short-Eared Owls, Peregrine Falcon, Merlin, Grey and Common Seals, Porpoise, Great Northern Divers, Red-Throated Divers, Hares, Great Skuas and many many more, even the odd Minke Whale. Don’t be put off by bad weather as these days can often surprise you with some of the best sightings.

Golden Eagle from today (phone pic through the scope). This one and its partner chased a WTE out of their territory, then after flying low overhead conveniently landed close by.

Good views of a pair of Otters too today. Looked like a bit of hesitant courting from the local male!

Two of the seven WTEs that were sat in a line yesterday. Looked like sea trout and/or salmon moving into the river and they (plus lots of gulls and herons) were making the most of it.
