Our Senior Travel Consultant, Katie Hanes, has recently returned from a four-night journey through northern Morocco, exploring Tetouan, Tamuda Bay, Chefchaouen and the Rif Mountains.

She reflects on her experiences:
"I enjoyed the contrast between the sandy beaches and luxury hotels of Tamuda Bay, the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen and the dramatic scenery of the Rif Mountains. What struck me most was how peaceful and uncrowded it felt, even in beautiful weather".

Happy World Heritage Day 🌍

The world's most exceptional places aren't always the most visited. A quieter side of the UNESCO World Heritage list awaits - rich with history, natural beauty and a sense of deep discovery.

From the ancient royal capital of Polonnaruwa emerging from Sri Lanka’s jungle, to the sacred Khmer sanctuary of Vat Phou set in Laos’ misty hills, and the sprawling, boulder-strewn ruins of Hampi in India - these UNESCO World Heritage Sites are for those who explore beyond the ordinary.

At Pettitts Travel, we believe the most meaningful travel experiences are created from journeys that lead from extraordinary exploration. Visit our website and begin your next adventure: https://bit.ly/4dWPSVp
