On foot staffer Niamh recently returned from our Umbria route and in true Italian fashion, it outdid itself on the culinary front! ⁠

Thank you On Footer Cynthia for these gorgeous photos from your recent walk around our Lands End Circuit route in Cornwall, England.⁠

Our self-guided walking route take you along ancient trails with dramatic coastal walking.⁠
⁠
Our route is, we think, a perfectly formed circuit, offering a taste of everything a walker could wish for. Starting with a micro-pilgrimage from St Ives across the rural peninsula to St Michael’s Mount, we then spend three days exploring some of the best of the South West Coastal Path. Pass through Marazion, Mousehole and Porthgwarra.⁠
For your final walk back to St Ives, we loved the Tinner’s Way across Woon Gumpus common, with its mining heritage, stone circles, castles and quoits, leading directly to St Ives. If you prefer, you can stay on the coastal path all the way to St Ives (graded super-hard so you may want to take another night in Zennor), feeling supremely satisfied and with a smile etched from ear to ear.⁠

Here are just a few of the spectacular shots of wildlife 🌸captured by Mike during his time there. From violet carpenter bees to Eurasian griffon vultures, not to mention the abundance of wild flora. If, like Mike, you are have a passion for nature and the outdoors, we cannot recommend this route highly enough through the unspoilt mountains ⛰️ of southern Spain.⁠
