At Pedal Nation we are passionate about delivering cycle tours and bike rides, for us a bicycle tour is all about the journey. We actively encourage people of all ages and all abilities to come on our adventurous cycle tours. We have a really positive attitude and nothing makes us prouder that to take a novice cyclist and help them achieve their goal of cycling from Lands End to John o'Groats or a

cross three European countries all the way to Vienna. We firmly believe that you do not need the most expensive cycling clothing or a top of the range bike to complete a long distance cycle tour with us. We particularly enjoy researching, designing and launching new products onto the market. In 2015 we researched and launched our 900 mile Road to Vienna bicycle tour and this has proved to be a huge success. We continue to guide and support bike riders on the classic Lands End to John O'Groats 1000 mile cycle tour. In 2017 we will be delivering two new bike tours, the Road to Copenhagen and the Road to Hamburg. We have recognised that there is a demand for ladies only cycle tours and with this in mind we will be delivering a 400 mile ladies only bike ride in the French Pyrenees, this is the classic coast to coast cycle ride and will be guided and supported by two female cycling guides. We also operate excellent bicycle tours in Kerala, Rajasthan, Tibet and Nepal as well as the Mekong Delta of Vietnam. We pride ourselves on being a small friendly cycle tour company and as such we have clients who come back to us year after year, they too recognise that 'it's all about the journey'.

Fancy the cycling trip of a lifetime? And to take advantage of a brilliant offer? We are offering spaces on our upcoming Ladakh e-bike cycling holiday (5-19 July) with -

๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ free e-bike hire ๐Ÿšด AND

๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ no single room supplement๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ.

Of all our tours, is this one perhaps the most remarkable? Mind-blowing mountain scenery, friendly locals, colour everywhere you look, and as much chai and momas as you can throw a bicycle pump at. All with the benefit of an e-bike to help power you at altitude, local guides and in-depth expertise, and your own space overnight.

Ladakh is the far north westerly region of India, known as Little Tibet, and features Himalayan mountains, turquoise rivers, and Buddhist culture. Worried about being fit enough? Don't be. We ensure excellent acclimatisation to altitude and the e-bike will give you the added 'push' you might need.

The final Pedal Nation tour of the NC500 may now have concluded, but this doesn't mean the end to our holidays in the beautiful Scottish Highlands! Our new Highland Fling 2027 tour incorporates some eye-wateringly beautiful landscapes and awesome riding. The roads are quieter, hotel availability better, it's actually more varied, and you still get to ride the Bealach na Ba!

Our Cycling Devt manager knows Scotland inside out and has taken great pleasure developing this innovative new route through the southern, western and eastern Highlands. She has also already bagsied guiding it alongside another of our Scottish guides Anne!

Check out the below photos from this year's riding of the Bealach. Undoubtedly a highlight of this and any Scottish cycling holiday. And once you have done that, have a look at our new Highland Fling route and get dreaming! Bookings already open for 2027! https://pedalnation.co.uk/tour-item/highland-fling/

Ever fancied a cycling holiday in India, but not been sure what to expect? Head over to our Stories on Facebook and Instagram daily for the next fortnight for behind-the-scenes images of our Cycling Development Manager doing a recce of some of our holidays across there.

But why would you choose India for a cycling holiday? The people. The food. The landscape. For an adventure of a lifetime. And did we mention the people?

And some responses to possible misconceptions:

- "the pollution is bad!" The air quality in big cities often isn't great. But we almost entirely avoid cycling in big cities, and everywhere else it is absolutely fine.
- "the traffic is crazy!" Yes, at first sight, Indian driving does seem chaotic. But this is mainly true of inner cities and highways. And we don't cycle in or on either. The custom of beeping the horn isn't impatience. It's letting you know that someone is there!
- "I will get a bad stomach!" This can't be ruled out, but we take great care in choosing our eateries and advising you about food and water hygiene to make it unlikely.

Why not give us a call to talk our holidays and any concerns you might have through with us? Pedal Nation are the experts when it comes to travel in the Indian subcontinent through our longstanding partnership with award-winning Delhi based adventure travel company Welcome Travels. So you can be sure to be in safe and knowledgeable hands.
