Our popular “Overground and Underground” tours continue throughout July, running every Saturday and Sunday at 1:30pm.

Join our professionally trained heritage guides at The Bargate (North Side) for a fascinating walk through Southampton’s medieval vaults, ancient walls, and the hidden stories that shaped the city.

Whether you’re local or visiting, this is a brilliant way to explore Southampton’s past and see familiar streets in a whole new light. We’ll also be taking you into at least two of the vaults beneath the old town — if you’ve never seen them before, this is your perfect opportunity.
