There are plenty of beautiful villas on Paxos, but few offer the kind of view you get at Villa Yakovos.
It's best taken in from the pool terrace or first-floor balcony – a broad vista that runs down over forested hills to the blue Ionian Sea, and out to Antipaxos. If your idea of villa heaven is relaxing with a cool drink at dusk while the sky turns vivid hues of orange and pink, the pool terrace of Villa Yakovos is the place to be.
While Gaios is only a short drive away, Villa Yakovos is deep in Paxos's wild south, set in expansive grounds and surrounded by olive groves. The feeling of seclusion is total, but the small village of Ozias is just a short stroll away, and has a handy shop-café-bar run by the villa's owner.
