10 years ago, I started Tiernan Travel as a naive girl with a big passion, a clear vision, and absolutely no idea how business actually worked — or how to turn passion into entrepreneurship.

And because I clearly have a talent for chaos, I started a family at the same time as launching the business. Sleep, stability, and sanity became optional extras.

It has been the most humbling, emotional, exhausting, rewarding, and beautiful 10 years. There have been incredible highs, difficult lows, and of course… COVID, which tested every part of this industry and every part of me.

It feels uncomfortable to say this out loud (especially if you know me — I’m terrible at taking compliments!), but I am genuinely so proud of what we have built.

Tiernan Travel has grown beyond anything I could have imagined back then, and none of it would have been possible without the most incredible team beside me. Thank you for putting up with my ADHD brain, my endless ideas, my chaos, and my passion over the years.

I’m eternally grateful — and very excited for what the next 10 years will bring
