Hard earned rewards taste the sweetest 🍻

The Kingfisher Spirit award is given to a person, or team, that not only put in a huge effort over a race weekend but did it in a generous, positive way. Overcoming adversity, helping other competitors overcome adversity, sharing a joyous approach to motorsport.

Amspeed Racing has been a Motor Racing Legends stalwart for years, and few deserved a crate of Kingfisher Ultra more than Arran Moulton-Smith and his mechanics, who kept four BMW E30 M3s in top nick throughout the BRDC Classic, despite a few "minor" challenges along the way.

In 1971, Helmut Marko* claimed the first-ever European 2-Litre Championship, winning the Trophée d'Auvergne at Charade, as well as at Paul Ricard and Imola.

The Austrian was victorious in the Lola T212, an iconic shape of the period and a regular on our 2-Litre Sportscars grid.

Another Austrian was also on the grid that season: Niki Lauda, who won the Tauernpokal at the Salzburgring, for Chevron. Future F1 stars Ronnie Peterson, Guy Edwards and Jean-Pierre Jabouille were also regulars during the season.

1️⃣ 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐞-’𝟔𝟔 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐬
Ce plateau réunit un panel exceptionnel de berlines (Mini, Ford Lotus Cortina, BMW 1600, Alfa Romeo GTA, Volvo Amazon, Fiat Abarth…) et propose des courses serrées et disputées. La série demeure une référence dans le domaine des courses historiques de tourisme, au Royaume-Uni comme en dehors.

2️⃣ 𝐏𝐫𝐞 ’𝟔𝟔 𝐆𝐓 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭
Cette nouvelle série est réservée aux voitures de Grand Tourisme d’avant 1966. Elle réunit quelques‑unes des plus belle créations signées AC, Jaguar, Porsche ou Lotus, dans un format de week‑ends très rythmé.

3️⃣ 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐖𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐬
Ce plateau rend hommage aux pionniers : Alfa Romeo, Alvis, Aston Martin, Alta, Bentley, Bugatti, Delage, Delahaye, Frazer Nash, Lagonda, MG, Morgan, Riley, Talbot ou Talbot-Lago. Les voitures doivent rester proches de leurs spécifications d’origine, en configuration routière, avec ailes et phares.
