I love to ski, go on safari, be amazed by iconic landscapes, but I also like to relax in warm seas, practice yoga and try authentic local foods. Both species of African rhino, despite their names, are neither black nor white; they are both in fact grey. The white rhino is the second largest land mammal in the world, only the elephant is larger.

The name rhinoceros comes from ancient Greek, and, not surprisingly, means โ€˜nose hornโ€™.

For such a huge animal they are remarkably fleet of foot, running at 30-40 miles per hour โ€“ possibly why a group of rhinos is called a โ€˜crashโ€™!
