'We stayed at 3 Howbeck Cottage for one week in October. A beautiful cottage and garden, very well kept throughout. The cottage felt homely with comfy furniture and was tastefully decorated, a lovely deep bath and an excellent heating system. The welcome pack was a nice touch and the information pack was very comprehensive.Surrounded by farmland with wonderful views it was a great base for our week in the Lakes, even visiting Gretna & Silloth as well as all the usual Lake District villages. We booked after a friend had been and the cottage didn’t disappoint'
