🌿 A little more room for your Lake District holidays?

If you love spending time at Skiddaw View but would like more space to relax, we have two pre-owned twin-unit lodges available to buy on the park:

🏡 Victory Parkview — Oak Tree Lodge
A welcoming farmhouse style, a spacious lounge and a handy utility room for those muddy boots after a day exploring.

🏡 Swift Edmonton — Birch Lodge
A light, airy coastal feel, with a sociable open-plan living space and a kitchen island for leisurely mornings together.

Both are 40ft × 20ft, with decking to enjoy your surroundings at our family-run park in Lake District, Cumbria.

Already own a holiday home at Skiddaw View? We’d be pleased to discuss an individually assessed part-exchange allowance for your current home towards either lodge.

🐾 Pets are welcome in our Elites for an additional charge. Birch Lodge and Honeysuckle Lodge do not accept pets.

We also have other properties available over the festive period.

🍂 A little autumn magic at Skiddaw View…

A little excitement at Skiddaw View today… a new Victory Leisure Homes lodge has arrived! 🏡✨

The guys are busy right now getting it all in place, so we thought you might like to see some “behind the scenes” photos of it coming together!

This lovely lodge will be a privately owned one and its new owners are really looking forward to getting moved in! It’s wonderful to see this little corner of the park growing, and we can’t wait for its owners to start making memories here. 💚

A watchful neighbour and our wonderful team helped save the day this wet Sunday afternoon. 💚

When an owner spotted an open skylight at another holiday home on the park, they let us know straight away. It appeared to have blown open in the storm, allowing rain and leaves into the kitchen.

We contacted the home’s owner, then our team quickly got to work: collecting the water with a wet vac, removing kitchen kickboards to reach underneath, and getting a building dryer and the heating running to help dry everything out.

By acting quickly, we were able to greatly limit the damage, keeping the owner informed throughout.

Their message afterwards meant a great deal:

“We are so very grateful to you and colleagues for sorting out so quickly and comprehensively thus avoiding potential more serious issues to the lodge.”

A huge thank you to the owner who raised the alarm and to our amazing staff for turning out on a thoroughly wet Sunday afternoon. 👏

Our team has stepped in many times over the years, but we rarely stop to share these moments or give them the recognition they deserve.

As a family-run park, looking after people and their holiday homes matters to us. Today was a lovely reminder of how much it helps when everyone looks out for one another. 💚
