Stretching into the distance through the beautiful Stanway Estate, this magnificent tree-lined avenue is one of the Cotswolds' most striking landscapes.

Surrounded by rolling countryside and just a short walk from Stanway House, it's the sort of place that encourages you to slow your pace, breathe deeply and simply enjoy the journey.

Sometimes the most memorable moments aren't found at the destination—but along the path that leads there.

🌿 Have you ever wandered beneath an avenue like this?

Did you know...

The beautiful church beside Stanway House is St Peter's Church, parts of which date back to the 12th century.

The church and the house have stood side by side for centuries, creating one of the most picturesque scenes anywhere in the Cotswolds.

It's little moments like this that make walking through the region so rewarding, history is never far away.

There are few places in the Cotswolds quite as peaceful as Hailes Abbey.

Founded in 1246 by Richard, Earl of Cornwall, the abbey was once one of England's most important pilgrimage sites, attracting visitors from across medieval Europe. Today, its beautiful ruins offer a fascinating glimpse into nearly 800 years of history.

Standing amongst the ancient stone walls, it's easy to imagine the monks who once lived here and the thousands of pilgrims who travelled to this quiet corner of Gloucestershire.

It's one of those places where history feels wonderfully close.

🌿 From Chipping Campden to Hidcote... one unforgettable day in the Cotswolds. 🥾
Some walks aren't just about the destination, they're about everything you discover along the way.

Beginning in the historic market town of Chipping Campden, this route winds through quiet country lanes, charming honey-stone villages and rolling Cotswold countryside before arriving at one of England's most celebrated gardens: Hidcote Manor Garden. 🌼

Along the way you'll pass beautiful cottages, welcoming village pubs, peaceful churches and far-reaching views that remind you why the Cotswolds has captured hearts for centuries.

It's a walk that perfectly combines history, nature and some of the finest gardens in England.

✨ If you're looking for a day that captures the very essence of the Cotswolds, this is one of our favourites.

What if the most beautiful part of Chipping Campden isn't on the High Street?

This weekend, more than twenty privately owned gardens opened their gates to the public, revealing hidden pathways, historic houses, secret orchards, and some truly spectacular gardens.

What began as a garden tour became something much more. A reminder that the beauty of the Cotswolds isn't just found in its landscapes and historic buildings, but in the care people take of the places they call home.

A wonderful event and a fascinating glimpse behind the walls of one of the Cotswolds' most beautiful towns 🌿
