A day exploring Winchcombe and the surrounding Cotswolds 💚
Historic streets, ancient churches, rolling hills, and over 5,000 years of history hidden in the landscape.

From a quiet pint at The Lion Inn 🍺 to exploring St Peter’s Church and the beautiful grounds of Sudeley Castle 🏰 this part of the Cotswolds is full of stories waiting to be discovered.
But the real surprise came at Belas Knap. A Neolithic burial mound around the same age as Stonehenge… yet with no crowds, no tickets, and barely another person in sight.
Just peaceful hills and a powerful connection to the past.

From the honey-coloured high street and historic inns to the beautiful St Peter’s Church and the remarkable Sudeley Castle, it’s a place full of character, history, and incredible walking routes.

Tucked away in the beautiful village of Snowshill sits the historic St Eadburgha’s Church.
Surrounded by rolling countryside and honey-coloured stone cottages, it’s one of those quiet corners of the Cotswolds that feels almost untouched by time.

Places like this are part of what makes walking here so special. Around almost every bend, there’s another view, village, or piece of history waiting to be discovered.

Blenheim Palace is a photographer’s dream 📸

As the resident photographer here at Cotswold Walks, it’s one of my favourite places to shoot.

From the grand architecture and sweeping vistas to the gardens and water features, there’s inspiration in every direction. Add in the rich history and links to Sir Winston Churchill, and it’s easy to see why it leaves such an impression.

Bluebell season in the Cotswolds 💙
