“Istanbul was so much bigger than I expected! We did loads on foot and used the brilliant local trams 🚋. Seeing the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia was incredible, but queues can be long I recommend booking some must see attractions in advance.

The views from Galata Tower were unreal, shopping in the Grand Bazaar and along Istiklal Street running from Taksim Square to Galata Tower area was a must, and the food… amazing 🤍
One of my highlights was a Bosphorus cruise, sailing where Europe meets Asia — unforgettable!

We also flew direct to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines, which made getting there so easy.

MSC Cruises has announced that passengers sailing this summer will be able to watch every match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup live while at sea, adding a major sports perk to its onboard entertainment lineup.

The cruise line confirmed that all 104 matches of the tournament will be shown across its ships between June 11 and July 19, 2026.

Guests will be able to watch matches live in multiple venues around each ship, including sports bars, casino bars, lounges, theatres, and poolside LED screens designed for large viewing audiences.

The broadcasts will be offered fleetwide, allowing passengers on itineraries worldwide to follow the tournament regardless of where their cruise is sailing.

In addition to live screenings, MSC plans to host themed entertainment tied to the tournament, including quizzes, interactive games, and activities aimed at guests of all ages.
