Nothing beats getting a postcard in the mail, especially when it’s from a client living their best travel life. 💌

This one just arrived from an incredible journey: Turkey → Estonia → Helsinki → Stockholm → Oslo → Copenhagen → Krakow → Prague. Countless memories.

Along the way, they explored the ABBA Museum in Stockholm, walked the beautiful campus of Aalto University in Finland, and paid their respects at Auschwitz.

This is exactly why we love what we do. Every trip is different, every story is personal, and we feel so lucky to be part of the adventure, even from thousands of miles away.

Happy Wanderlust Wednesday! 💜💛

Last week, Cindy and I attended the Vikings VIP Training Camp Experience with , and it was such a fun day.

We got an exclusive look behind the scenes at TCO Performance Center in Eagan, watching Minnesota Vikings players run through practice on the Land O’Lakes practice fields. We also enjoyed great food and drinks in the Omni Hospitality Tent.
It was a wonderful opportunity to network with leaders from Chambers across the metro, including Dakota County, River Heights, St. Paul, Lakeville, Burnsville, Savage, and Apple Valley, along with the Black Chamber of Commerce and the Latino Chamber of Commerce.

This wasn’t our first Vikings moment either. We actually met the mascot in Dublin last year, so we’re feeling like official superfans at this point!

🌍 Wanderlust Wednesday 🌍

Not every season of life allows for a big trip. Sometimes schedules don’t allow it. Sometimes the timing isn’t right. Sometimes we just aren’t able to jump on a plane and go.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t step away and recharge.

A few weeks ago, we took a staycation right here in Minnesota, up to Grand Marais. For Cindy, it was a trip she had enjoyed numerous times. For Tera, it was a first, and what an experience it was. This little city has so much heart: great coffee, beautiful water views, and the kindest family run spot we’ve stayed at in a while.
And honestly, this idea doesn’t stop at Minnesota.

If you live in the Triangle, that could mean a weekend in the mountains. In LA, it might be the closest beach town. In Connecticut, a quick trip into Boston or New York.

Wherever home is, chances are there’s a getaway just a few hours away that you haven’t fully explored yet.

You don’t need a plane to get away. You just need to go.

So if you’ve been hesitating to plan something, for whatever reason, don’t. Sometimes the best recharge is closer than you think.

To the women dreaming of a solo trip but not quite ready to book that flight alone: start small.

Grab a table for one at your favorite restaurant. Catch a movie by yourself. Take a walk somewhere new, just you. These small moments of independence build the confidence that makes solo travel feel less scary and more exciting.

Tracee Ellis Ross said it best: “Having the courage to go towards what you want to be doing and experiences that you are looking for is often scary to do without having a partner to do it.”

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to start.

Some journeys are so legendary they’re still on the map 3,000 years later. This week we’re tracing the real-world places tied to Homer’s Odyssey, pthe ten-year voyage of Odysseus from the fall of Troy to his home in Ithaca.

🐴 Hisarlik, Turkey - Where it all began. Widely believed to be the site of ancient Troy, this UNESCO-listed mound near Çanakkale is where the war ended and Odysseus’s long voyage home started.

🏰 Ithaca, Greece — The whole point of the story. This rugged Ionian island is the homeland Odysseus spent a decade fighting to reach, still debated by scholars as the
“real” Ithaca of Homer’s geography.

🌋Aeolian Islands, Italy - 🇮🇹 Traditionally linked to Ae**us, keeper of the winds, who gave Odysseus a bag holding every wind but the one he needed.

🗻Sicily - Home to the legendary land of the Cyclopes, where Odysseus outwitted Polyphemus in his cave.
