Originally opened in 1902 by Mayence Bent as a boarding house for railway workers, it was later transformed into a grand Victorian hotel in 1913 — right in the heart of Nairobi!

Over a century later, it remains a symbol of elegance, history, and timeless Kenyan hospitality.
