🗣️ OTJOZONDJUPA Regional Debates Are Underway!

The stage is set, and the competition is fierce! Who will rise to the top and represent Otjozondjupa at the Nationals? 🏆💬

This marks an important step in a national series of fourteen regional debates, culminating in the grand finale during the Annual Walvis Bay Maritime Week, taking place from 8–13 September 2025, where the winning region will walk away with N$500,000! 💰🌊

Namibian Ports Authority (Namport) hereby invites bids through Open International Bidding (OIB) procedures for the Leasing One (1) 80 TBP Harbor Tugboat for a period of 24 Months and/or outright purchase of the Tugboat for Port of Walvis Bay.

Interested eligible bidders are requested to visit the Namport website at https://www.namport.com.na/procurement for details of the bidding requirements. Bidders must register as suppliers, express interest in a specific bid, make a payment of the (non-refundable) bid levy of N$1000.00 and submit the proof of payment in order to be granted access to the bidding documents. WBCG Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mbahupu H. Tjivikua, congratulates The Namibian Ports Authority - Namport for a sterling performance for the 2024/25 financial year, having recorded a total cargo throughput of 8.42 million tons across the Ports of Walvis Bay and Lüderitz—representing a 4.8% increase from the 8.03 million tons handled in the previous year.
