Starting from the first Wednesday of April, Blue Boat Company will be charging its own canal cruise boat.

And we do that using human energy. 🔌🔋🏃🏽‍♂️

Energy prices – and with that, electricity costs – keep rising. So, to make sure we can continue operating our boats affordably through the canals, we charge them ourselves.

And we do that with all these people, because, well… a boat has quite a large battery. 🛥️🔋

The charging sessions last about an hour. And during that hour, we cycle and row the boat through the canals. Of course, we have to keep up a decent pace, because otherwise… we won’t get anywhere! 🤷🏼‍♀️
