Pride Amsterdam is here! 🏳️‍🌈

This Saturday, August 2, the world-famous Canal Parade will take place on the canals of Amsterdam! During this event, the canals will turn into a spectacular display of decorated boats, music and celebration.

This means that our City Canal Cruise will not be able to operate its normal route. Your cruise will still depart from our dock opposite Hard Rock Café, but our boats will be sailing an alternative route. It may also take our captains a bit longer to navigate through the canals. A longer cruise may result in departure times being slightly off, but we will do our utmost best to operate on our normal schedule.

As the alternative route does not align with our audio tour, we will be playing background music on the boat instead of our audio tour.

This also applies to Friday afternoon (Aug. 1)

Good news! We do have wheelchair-accessible boats 🚤♿

With the help of a wheelchair lift, we can safely get you on board.

Swipe to see the photo’s that gives you a better idea of what it looks like!

When booking, make sure to select a time slot when one of our accessible boats is available: 10:30, 12:00, 14:00, 15:30, or 17:00.

And don’t forget to mention - when you book - in the “comments” field that you’ll be using a wheelchair – that way we can make sure everything is arranged for you 😊

On April 26, the Netherlands celebrates Kingsday! 🇳🇱

Due to the festivities on the canals, our canal cruises will follow a flexible route. During the cruise, background music will be played instead of the usual audio tour.

We will operate with time slots, but please note that departure times may vary, and cruises may last longer than the standard 75 minutes.

Thanks to the combined recycling efforts of our guests and team, we have donated € 1.250,- to Dierenambulance Amsterdam! 💙

Every PET bottle and can collected at our docks has helped support their amazing work - rescuing and caring for animals in need 🐶🐱

Please help us continue making a difference by placing your PET bottles and cans in the big yellow bin on our docks instead of throwing them away! ♻️

Op 25 september heeft de Raad van State het vaarbeleid van de gemeente Amsterdam vernietigd. Dit betekent dat alle exploitatievergunningen van Blue Boat Company weer voor onbepaalde tijd geldig zijn én dat we weer over 17 vergunningen beschikken! In de vergunningenronde van 2020 raakten we er 4 kwijt door het inmiddels ongeldig verklaarde beleid.

Na 12 jaar juridische strijd zijn we enorm blij en opgelucht dat deze zaak is afgerond. Nu kunnen we ons weer volledig focussen op wat we het liefst doen: onze gasten een onvergetelijke ervaring bieden op de prachtige Amsterdamse grachten! 🛥

Tegelijkertijd nodigen we wethouder Alexander Scholtes van harte uit om samen met de rondvaartbranche na te denken over een toekomstbestendig rondvaartbeleid waarin de belangen van bezoekers, bewoners en de rederijen samenkomen.
