Day 1: Flight to Pokhara โ Trek to Ghandruk Duration: 5โ6 hours Distance: 13.3 km Ascent: 1,120 m Descent: 190 m
After an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, enjoy spectacular Himalayan viewsโseating on the right side of the aircraft offers the best panoramas. Upon arrival, you will be met by our trekking team and transferred by road (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes) to Nayapul, near Birethanti, where the trek begins.
The trail follows the Modi Khola before ascending through terraced farmland and forested paths to the picturesque village of Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung settlement renowned for its mountain scenery and cultural heritage. If time permits, a visit to the Gurung Museum can be arranged.

Day 2: Trek from Ghandruk to Chhomrong Duration: 6 hours Distance: 10.6 km Ascent: 800 m Descent: 800 m
The day begins with a steady ascent to Kimrung Danda, offering magnificent views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Gangapurna. A steep descent follows to the Kimrong Khola, after which the trail climbs sharply to Chere Danda.
From here, the path undulates gently before reaching Chhomrong, a beautiful village dramatically situated beneath the Annapurna massif and considered the gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary.

Day 3: Trek from Chhomrong to Bamboo Duration: 3 hours Distance: 6.5 km Ascent: 540 m Descent: 240 m
Descend a long series of stone steps to cross the Chhomrong Khola, then begin a gradual ascent to Sinuwa. The trail continues through dense rhododendron and bamboo forests, passing Kuldihar before a gentle descent leads to Bamboo, a small settlement nestled in the forest.

Day 4: Trek from Bamboo to Deurali Duration: 3โ4 hours Distance: 7.1 km Ascent: 840 m Descent: 10 m
Todayโs trek passes through cool, shaded bamboo and alpine forests, with several steep ascents along the way. Upon reaching the Himalaya Hotel, the landscape opens to reveal dramatic views of the glacial river below.
The trail then climbs through drier terrain past Hinku Cave, eventually reaching Deurali, one of the most scenic sections of the trek. Sparse vegetation allows sweeping views of the valley, cascading waterfalls, and towering rock faces.

Day 5: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp Maximum Elevation: 4,130 m Duration: 3โ4 hours Distance: 6.7 km Ascent: 950 m
The trail ascends gradually along a riverbed before a steeper climb to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). From here, enjoy close-up views of Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli, and Gangapurna.
Continuing onward, the path widens as you enter the Annapurna Sanctuary, culminating at Annapurna Base Camp. The amphitheater-like setting offers an uninterrupted 360-degree panorama, dominated by the imposing south face of Annapurna I.

Day 6: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo Duration: 5โ6 hours Distance: 14 km Ascent: 10 m Descent: 1,810 m
After sunrise views in the high mountains, begin the descent following the same trail back through the sanctuary. The route drops approximately 1,700 meters along the Modi Khola, returning to Bamboo. The afternoon can be spent relaxing or exploring the surrounding forested area.

Day 7: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda Duration: 4โ5 hours Distance: 9.3 km Ascent: 470 m Descent: 1,040 m
The trail climbs back to Kuldihar and Sinuwa before ascending the stone steps to Upper Chhomrong. From here, descend steeply to Jhinu Danda, renowned for its natural hot springs. A 20-minute walk brings you to the riverside poolsโan ideal way to relax tired muscles.

Day 8: Trek to Nayapul โ Drive to Pokhara Duration: 7โ8 hours Distance: 19.6 km Ascent: 720 m Descent: 1,340 m
Trek through terraced hills and traditional villages en route to Nayapul, enjoying the diverse landscapes of western Nepal. From Nayapul, transfer by vehicle to Pokhara.
Note: If road conditions permit, it may be possible to drive directly from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara, bypassing the trek.
Overnight: Pokhara
Day 9: Flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu
On the final day, return to Kathmandu by domestic flight. If seated on the left side of the aircraft, you may enjoy one last aerial view of the central Himalayan peaks, weather permitting.
