Fresh back from Greece, and yes, this counts as work.

I spent the trip exploring hotels, restaurants, experiences, beach options, transfers, and the towns my clients ask about most.

Mykonos was busy, fun, stylish, and full of energy.

Santorini was beautiful, dramatic, and involved more stairs than anyone needs to admit.

I ate well, took notes, asked questions, looked at rooms, tested logistics, and paid attention to the things that actually matter when planning a trip.

What I learned, or confirmed: Greece is not one trip. It can be beachy, active, romantic, family-friendly, food-focused, or very high-end, depending on how you put it together.

Also confirmed: location matters, timing matters, and not every “must see” is a must for every traveler.

I came home with new favorites, a few strong opinions, and a much better feel for how to match the right clients with the right Greek itinerary.

Also confirmed: location matters, timing really matters, and not every “must see” is a must for every traveler.

We all love Italy! And Italy loves to strike. Every month I post the upcoming months strike calender on LinkedIn ( Jackie Gibbons Wammock) ( give me a follow)

Here is the June schedule, * subject to change. Share with anyone you know heading to Italy.

In more bad news the new biometric EU exit and entry system is causing huge multi hour delays. The only semi solution I can offer is VIP airport service. It can speed up the process and hopefully keep you from missing your connection. It’s expensive.

Hotel I Have My Eye On:

The Black Sands Hotel
sits right on the edge of Iceland’s wild volcanic South Coast, making it the perfect jumping off point for exploring the Golden Circle and beyond.

It is also the region’s first black sand beachfront hotel, which feels very Iceland: moody, dramatic and ridiculously photogenic.

And there is not a bad room in the house. Every room has a front row seat to nature, with views of either the ocean or the mountains.
Come to Iceland for waterfalls, glaciers, geysers, and volcanoes.

And come for the hotel that makes black sand chic.

This week, clients are off to South Africa and Botswana for a bucket list safari, and another family is heading to Hawaii to celebrate not one, but two college graduations.

That is a big week in the Travelera world.

Horse back riding safari on one side of the world, helicopters, scuba diving and family celebration on the other.

And me at my desk, pretending I am not wildly jealous while also being very, very happy for them.

We’re not selling the booking.

We’re shaping the experience.

Sure, you can add a trip to a cart.

You can click around, compare rates, grab a room, and check out in thirty seconds.

But that’s buying a commodity.

A bed.
A flight.
A reservation.

That’s not the same as creating a trip.

At Travelera Partners, the real work is shaping the experience around what you actually want to feel.

The first exhale when the view is even better than the photos.

The long lunch that turns into “maybe we don’t need dinner.”

The winemaker sitting with you for hours really discussing wine instead of just a standard run of the mill tasting.

The surprise you didn’t even know you wanted.

The destination you had not even considered, until suddenly it feels exactly right.

Yes, there are flights, hotels, transfers, dinner reservations, and a million tiny details that all have to work.

But those are not the trip.

They’re the framework.

The trip is the experience.

And that’s the part you remember.TraveliveGifted Travel NetworkVirtuoso
