We just had to share this beautiful moment from one of our recent guests. 🫎🍂

They captured this moose making its way through the gorgeous fall colors here in Alaska and were kind enough to let us share the video.

Moments like this are one of the reasons we love living here—and we’re always happy when our guests get to experience a little bit of that Alaska magic for themselves. ❤️

Planning your visit to Denali National Park? The bus system is the key to seeing the park — but choosing the right one matters: https://alaskaitinerary.com/denali-bus-tours/
Denali isn’t a park you can explore freely by car. 👆👆👆Most of the park road is accessible only by buses, and there are different types to choose from.
In this guide👆, we break down:
• Narrated tours vs. non-narrated transit buses
• What you actually get with each option
• How far you can go in 2026
• Booking tips and what to reserve early
• Which bus is best depending on your travel style

This will help you avoid confusion and choose the option that fits your trip.

Are you planning a guided experience or a more flexible DIY approach?

Every year on the first Saturday of March the Iditarod ceremonial start brings excitement to Anchorage
Mushers will line up on 4th Avenue and “D” Street and set off on their 1,000‑mile journey. You can line up anywhere along the 11 mile route through town to cheer them on.
Our home is the perfect base – just a ten minute drive to this spot close enough to high five the teams as they sled past.
