I've lived in Aransas Pass nearly all my life, and fish the areas of Port Aransas, Aransas Pass, Rockport, Ingleside, and Corpus Christi. What a good way to end August! Saturday August 29th. I took five guys this morning and put them on some solid redfish. Most of them were 27 to 28 and it was a fast bite! They caught their 15 reds and then we went trout fishing and caught 9 speckled trout. Easy day today with a long time client and his grandsons! We are getting a few days booked in September and October so if you want to go have some fun then give us a call or email!

I took 2 new couples yesterday and they were super cool people. Even brought me a sandwich and chips. We had a great day and caught 7 keeper reds our first stop and then managed to catch 11
Of their 12 trout! Very nice folks and good fisher people! It was nice on the water and not as many boats as there has been! Plenty of days left in September and October so give me a call if you want to go have some fun!

I took some new clients today and really enjoyed their company. We made a little run and caught 3 redfish and their limit of speckled trout. Still lots of people on the water having fun. Fished some places I used to fish all the time yrs ago and they paid off. I have lots of days still open and one of my favorite months ( October) isn't far away! Beautiful day on the water today for sure and it's always fun when I have a couple of young guys to mess with! 😆

Well I just finished fishing Friday, Saturday and Sunday and it was pretty crowded out on the water this weekend with several tournaments on Saturday. We fished one of them and we needed 3 trout, 1 redfish and maybe a flounder. We caught three decent trout and 1 25 inch redfish our first 2 stops but couldn't get a 28 inch redfish or a flounder which would have won it. Of course Friday we caught the fish that we needed for Saturday. I found three small schools of redfish in the video a few days before this weekend but didn't post it for obvious reasons hoping that they might still be there. So if you've never seen tailing redfish this is what they look like. Anyway I have lots of days open if anyone decides they want to go catch some fish and there are speckled trout everywhere. Limited out this morning . Tight Lines Everyone!

Let me tell you a story. 2 days ago my cousin was driving my sister back to Sequin with her dog and she broke down. Ya'll know how hot it is this time of year and neither of them are in great shape being in there middle 60"s. Well a man and his wife stopped and jump started their car and followed them back to Sequin. He had to jump start it a couple of times. He figured it out and it was the alternator. This man and his wife were heading to a family event and still took the time to go get an alternator and taillight bulbs as he noticed one was out. He fixed everything for them. It would have been a really rough time for them if he hadn't showed up. I got his number and told him that I would like to take them fishing for free as they really went out of their way. Made me start thinking about all my clients and how they have helped me over the years. Buying trips in the winter ahead of time when I was raising my daughter. It always took pressure off of me and she always had a Great Christmas. Donating trips when I was selling raffle tickets when my son in law was diagnosed with cancer. One time one of my clients/friends let us go to their home on Lake Medina and turned over the whole second floor to use and I left my boat there when we went home after hurricane Harvey. When we left this couple gave us a very large check and of course I refused it till they told me that they wanted to help someone after the hurricane and they knew us and insisted. He told me that someone had helped him at one time in his life and to pass it on. It really helped us alot as I didn't realize at the time that we wouldn't be getting the fishing trips we were used to because there weren't very many places for clients to stay even in the following Spring. I have traded trips for so many things in the past and so many Good people have helped mentor me with good advice. I can't thank all of you enough that's for sure but I will always try and pass it on! Yes people there are lots of good folks in this world! Thank you all for all the years and making it possible for me to stay on the water. You all will always have my gratitude 🙏

After the rain quit this morning I took some really nice people which I have never fished before. They caught their limit of trout in 3 stops along with a bunch of 14 inch and at least 1 oversized. We went looking for some redfish and finally found a spot and put 5 in the box. It was really nice out there today with not many other boats. Fun day it was!

Caught their 12 trout yesterday ( Monday) and a bunch of undersized and some oversized. Back on the water today with some people that are Wade fishing. I have lots of days open if anyone wants to fish. Tight Lines

I haven't been posting many pictures lately. I am still fishing and I have had to work for them lately. The redfish are showing up again and I put my piggy traps out so fishing is fixing to be really good! Ya'll know how much I love to have lots of piggies! One of my clients just sent these pictures with a nice word or two. It's really nice to know that I brought a little joy to someone's life 😊. Thank you Robert Pacheco !
