I've lived in Aransas Pass nearly all my life, and fish the areas of Port Aransas, Aransas Pass, Rockport, Ingleside, and Corpus Christi. I took 5 people today and they managed to catch their 15 speckled trout. It was a scratch but we got them! We fished a few stops for redfish during the trip but didn't find any. Got me a short nap this evening and ready to get back out there in the morning! Just a few pics of today's group!

Moved today's trip to tomorrow as I had Thursday booked off as my 1 day off this week. Worked out good for my clients and of course I am up since 3 this morning. Kinda get in that habit and wanted to get my coffee made in case we lost power. Be safe out this morning we have some pretty strong thunderstorms heading our way right now. Take care!

Managed to catch a decent box today and I went all the way to Blind Pass which I haven't done in awhile. I was looking for some reds and we did catch that big one there and several oversized speckled trout. It was a fun day with super people that I have fished for quite a few years! We had quite a bit of action with small trout, oversized trout, a few good keepers, some gafftop,and some skip Jack's ( lady fish). Look for that bunch of reds with our name on it! Tight Lines

Friday was a tough fishing day for me. We fished hard for 7 hours and only boxed 4 keepers,2 trout and 2 redfish. I was not able to find any croaker. We'll today i got my hands on 3 dozen croaker and they made a big difference. Our first stop we boxed 5 trout,threw back an oversized,and caught 2 redfish. The next stop first cast they caught their 6 speckled trout. We looked around for redfish for awhile but never caught another one. Everyone that I saw that fished for redfish didn't catch them. Thank goodness the trout are here and the croaker are starting to show up even though they are small they seem to be working well. Booked off for the next 2 weeks because I am re gel coating my boat and doing a few other things to it as well. It's definitely overdue for a face-lift! Can't wait to get it done and get back out there and catch some speckled trout!

Went out on the water today and set a few perch traps, looked for shad and did a little looking around for fish because I am running trips Friday and Saturday. Didn't find shad but caught some mullet and pin perch for bait tomorrow. We found a few reds and that's what I just had for supper. Sure were good! Cindy caught an oversized and we released it. We had a good time and the redfish seemed to bite the pin perch and cut mullet equally well. Get your days booked before long as we are booking for the summer already. Take care!

Took the boat out to run it today because I changed the oil and filter, the lower unit oil, and the complete water pump. Really wasn't time yet but I wanted to get it done before I get too busy. Just needed to make sure I didn't mess up somewhere. We caught some shad and bought a quart of live shrimp. We made a stop and landed right on some really nice redfish. Cindy and I caught our limit and threw back a few oversized and then made a couple of stops for trout. We caught a couple and came back home. We've been staying busy on our days off for sure. I sprayed a hundred oak trees to get rid of the webworms before they had a chance to be a problem. We've been booking a few trips here and there. Got all the fiberglass and gelcoat in and soon I will be making that boat look a lot nicer. Give us a call when you figure out when you want to go catch some nice fish!
