We operate in a temperate rain forest, which means that sometimes it rains...

Our tours are rain or shine, and we will always put your safety first, but it is possible that we may get caught in rain...we supply ponchos, and our guides are really good about understanding weather patterns, so just relax and have fun!

‼️Important note: since our opening in 2016, 0 guests reported melting due to rain.

Help us welcome Tony Lohr to our crew!!!!

In 2015 Tony became a full-time fly fishing guide. For the next five years he traveled nomadically guiding seasonally bouncing between Buffalo NY, Quinhagak AK, and Western Maryland. During trips to the south during his childhood he developed a fondness for the Southern Appalachians, and 6 years ago moved to the Asheville area, where he continues to guide for trout and smallmouth, and enjoys sharing his love of the area with visitors.

When he’s not on the water, or behind the wheel of a jeep, you can catch him on the 3rd baseline cheering on the Asheville Tourists, or relaxing at one of the areas breweries.

Tony has already stacked several 5-star reviews, and is really excited to see what the Fall season will look like this year!

Hikin' AND jeepin' in Asheville!!!

⛰️Asheville Jeep Tours Hiking Excursion offers MORE hiking than our other tours!

💪🏾During this outing, we will hike 3-4 miles, conquer some elevation gain, encounter water crossings, and of course, see waterfalls!!!

🌳You will still get to ride in our open-air jeeps, get the best snacks, and have access to the hiking poles and rain gear, while being safely led by the friendliest and most knowledgeable guides around.

💎Private tours are also available for bigger groups (up to 36 adults); these can be customized to include more or less hiking, swimming hole stops, etc.
