We’re thrilled to celebrate Chef Ashleigh Shanti, owner of Good Hot Fish, who just brought home a James Beard Media Award in the U.S. Foodways category for her debut cookbook, Our South: Black Food Through My Lens.

The book explores Shanti’s culinary roots through five regional chapters- Backcountry, Lowcountry, Midlands, Lowlands, and Homeland, each representing a piece of her story, heritage, and journey as a chef.

We are so excited to announce that we have reopened!

It has been a long road since Hurricane Helene destroyed our garage, but we are excited to be rolling again.

Stop #6 on our Hop-On/Hop-Off Sightseeing Tour. This old sign is so beautiful. The Grove Arcade is a historic commercial building located in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. It was built in the 1920s and originally served as an architectural marvel and shopping destination. The building features a stunning neo-Gothic design with ornate details and is often referred to as "the Jewel of Asheville."

Today, the Grove Arcade is a mixed-use space that combines shopping, dining, and office spaces. It houses a variety of boutique shops, art galleries, restaurants, and even residences on the upper floors. Visitors can explore the arcade, shop for unique gifts, dine at local eateries, and appreciate the historic architecture and ambiance.
