Operation Christmas Child is an organization that has been so dear to my heart for as long as I can remember.

From volunteering at sorting centers, helping at drop off locations, and building + praying over shoeboxes, every year my love for this program grows stronger.

This year, though, I want to include YOU, the Travels Made Easy community, in the joy of sending a shoebox to a child.

🎁 why build online though? Building your shoebox online is a great way to ensure everything packed is an approved item. The shoeboxes are perfectly sized to fit as many as possible in smaller spaces, reducing the need for excessive transport and allowing Samaritan's Purse to deliver in smaller, harder to reach places more efficiently.

I was in the room where it happened, room where it happened…

It’s been almost 2 months since Future Leaders and I’m not sure I’ve even found the words to say yet.

Before anything, thank you Northstar Travel Group for investing in us, for giving us the opportunity to grow, and for allowing us time to feel refreshed both mentally and physically. This is truly one of the most impactful events I’ve ever attended.

Last year, Future Leaders brought me to Alaska and pulled me out of my comfort zone. It’s where I fell in love with this industry and my career all over again. The knowledge I absorbed, the connections I made..priceless. And Northstar was immediately stuck with me for the rest of forever 😂

This year, I was invited back as a guide to help build content and encourage and love on the new attendees. Truly one of the biggest honors. Speakers poured in to us with their knowledge, suppliers educated us on what’s out there, attendees and guides shared stories that touched our souls.

I’ve met some of my best friends to through future leaders. I’ve met role models. I’ve shared goals- the biggest and scariest ones. It’s truly helped shape me.

My business is better because of future leaders in travel. But more so, I’m a better person because of future leaders in travel.

Booking a cruise with a travel advisor who owns a cruise focused travel agency looks different for everyone!

Take a peek into what we can do!

🚢 the beginner: these are the folks who have never cruised and need the most assistance. I’m here from beginning to end.

🚢 the screenshot: many of my seasoned cruisers send me a screenshot followed by “let’s book this”. I’m more hands off, but I’m there for support when they need it.

🚢 best of both worlds: some folks utilize it all! They know what they want, but they also still want me to handle it all.

There’s no wrong way to book a cruise through a travel advisor!

And just today I was chatting with someone about how truly overwhelming all of the information is. We have info overload. And it’s easier to close the laptop and just stick to the easy trip you know than the new trip you WANT.

As a travel advisor who owns a family focused travel agency, I already know the cruises. I know the resorts. I know what would and what would not be a great fit for your crew.

I’m not going to send you 10 different options because we’re taking the guesswork out of this process.

When we talk, I hear you. Your needs. Your dreams. Your vision. Your heart.

And that takes the guesswork out because I already have the perfect choice (or choices, sometime) in mind.
