How dreamy- three friends, cruising together…but seperate. So what did we do? We got them three cabins all side by side so their balconies can open up. We made sure they all had anytime dining so they can dine alone or together. We made sure they have complimentary spa access. We made sure they had drinks + WiFi covered (because that new read on Kindle won’t download itself).

But more than anything, we made sure their vision was brought to life. These friends are moving the trip out of the group chat!

And maybe it’s time for you to do the same!

Today we pause.
We remember.
We honor.
We remember the men and women who fought back on planes.
We remember those helping others through the rubble.
We honor the lives of those who were lost.

September 11, 2001.

A hurried rush came over our classroom. Teachers whispering and meeting in halls. No one looked confident in the solution to whatever answer they were trying to find.

Then, the tv clicked on.
A plane had struck the World Trade Center.
In 4th grade, we didn’t know what that meant. The weight of what was happening.
I remember thinking “how did they not see that tall building?”
9:03 am. Building 2 was struck.
This was no longer an ordinary plane crash and my brain then understood.
9:37 am. The pentagon. A building we did know of- we learned a lot of US history that year.

Schools were locked down. Parents panicking. Teachers trying with all their being to keep a calm routine while they carried the weight of the world on their shoulders.

9/11. We will never forget.

But 9/12. I remember 9/12 just as vividly. The new strength that rose from within every American in the midst of such heavy sorrow. The powerful unity of US citizens. The pettiness of before no longer mattered- America stood strong. There was a care for others. There was a desire to help even if all that could be was keep morale up. 9/12. Perhaps one of the strongest moments in American history.

But today.
Today we pause.
We remember.
We honor.

Last week, Future Leaders was hosted by Lomas Hospitality at the beautiful El Dorado Royale

And let me tell you something..when “hospitality” is not just part of a company name for marketing..hospitality is truly a way of life at El Dorado. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family.

The grounds of this resort were BEAUTIFUL, we were in the beauty of the nature of Mexico and everywhere we looked, there was something beautiful- both man made and the wildlife.

I’ll admit- as someone who sells a lot of “new and shiny”, part of me was apprehensive. However, I found myself incredibly sad while packing my suitcase. El Dorado captivated me. The staff. The food. The grounds. True hospitality. And I’m ready to go back.

Literally cannot believe I crossed something off my bucket list last week- swimming in Cenotes!! OH MY WORD it was beautiful! All around us was a cave, bats, things that it may be difficult for some to find beauty in. But the moment you looked under water it was bright, crystal clear, and full of life!

Sometimes life gets heavy..it’s hard to see the bigger picture. And all that it takes is a little shift of your point of view!

Whether it’s crossing off bucket list activities or putting together the annual family trip, I love working with yall to shift your perspective, to break out of the day to day.

“We thought we would have the money..but we don’t. What do we do?”

Honeymoons.

You pour so much time and energy and money into the wedding process, sometimes the honeymoon gets put on the back burner.

It’s a reality for so many couples. But I can’t let my clients not have a beautiful honeymoon. They deserve to rest and bond together as husband and wife in this new chapter of life.

So what do I do? “Breathe. I’ve got you”

Sure, we may have to switch resorts. We might have to drop a night. We may even have to change locations. But at the end of it, my clients will know they are seen and they are taken care of.

This is what I do. I work with clients to make their vacations happen seamlessly. There’s no judgment. There’s no stress. We just make it happen.
