Be sure to come out and support local artisans, craftsman, and other vendors! You also don't want to miss seeing what new things are included in this years market! Can’t wait to see you there!

The Blairsville Music & Seafood Festival is coming back to town April 24-26! Don’t miss a weekend full of music, crafts, and lots of seafood! Located just off the town square, you should have no problem finding your way there! So make plan to come on out! We’ll be happy to see you! 🦞

Appalachian Trail season is underway in the north Georgia mountains which means thousands of hungry hikers are flocking to this area to attempt their journey north to Maine! Thanks to Chick-fil-A Blairsville and local volunteers for setting up trail magic for these hikers at Tesnatee Gap last weekend! Showing all our visitors true southern hospitality!

If you’re not familiar with trail magic, it’s an unexpected blessing that shows up on the trail for hikers to help encourage and uplift them on the trail. It could look like a ride into town, word of encouragement, or a meal delivered at a trail road crossing! We love that we live in place where businesses take the time to care for each other and our guests. Great job! ⛰️🥾

Two local favorites have made their way into 2026 edition of Savor Georgia! This magazine highlights the culinary and beverage scenes across Georgia, and Jim's Smokin Que and Grandaddy Mimm's made this year's cut. Known as one of north Georgia's best barbeque spots, Jim's Smokin Que was apart of this years Barbeque section of the 100 Hot Spots in Georgia. With an uncovered family moonshine recipe and a dream, Grandaddy Mimm's has made this year's Born + Brewed section. We love our local businesses, and we're always thrilled when their hard work pays off!

The results are in for the 2025 Georgia Business Journal's Best of Georgia winners, and the Blairsville - Union County Chamber of Commerce was named the 2025 Best of Georgia Regional Winners for Chambers of Commerce! Even though this award was granted to the chamber, we know that what makes a chamber great is the relationships it has with it's local community. You all make this town and county a wonderful place to do business and visit! So thank you everyone for helping this place, our home, a place worth recognition!

Big news! Blairsville very own Sorghum in the Mountains attended their first ever NSSPPA Sorghum Convention, and out of contestants from not only the US but also the world, syrup from our County came in 3rd place! Congratulations to our farmers for their hard work to produce an award winning syrup!

Many of our locals know the rich history of growing cane and producing sorghum syrup in this area, and awards like this one show the pride our community takes in our products! If you’ve never tried sorghum or even heard of it, plan a fall trip to Blairsville to attend our annual Sorghum Festival held every 2nd and 3rd weekend in October!

The trail is calling, and you must go! Did you know that Blairsville is one of the first trail towns hikers come to while attempting the Appalachian Trail? Every spring, thousands of hikers flock to the north Georgia mountains seeking to conquer the 2,200 mile trail from Georgia to Maine.

Whether you’re seeking to complete the whole trail or just tackle a section, we’re here for you! Be sure to to rest your weary feet before heading north again. Good luck and be safe out there! 🥾⛰️
