Windjammer homeported in Camden, Maine - offering 2,3,4,5 and 6 night sailing cruises along the coast

Join us for an all-inclusive vacation featuring tremendous sailing, homemade food and beautiful scenery. The French was built in 1871 and is the oldest commercial sailing vessel in the United States.

Did you know you could charter the entire boat with your family or friends? You gotta plan ahead though! In 2027 we have FOUR scheduled trips that are available for charter:

June 18-21
July 20-24
September 22-26
September 27- October 1

Changes will be kept up to date on our website: www.schoonerfrench.com

It costs $21,000- $27,000 to charter one of these trips, based on trip length and time of year. We can carry a maximum of 21 guests.

After a tremendous season of good food, good times, and terrific wind, the Lewis R. French is hauled out at North End Shipyard in Rockland for some fall maintenance. We have some exciting new projects to keep us busy over the winter, and we are looking forward to seeing all our wonderful guests, both new and old, when summer comes again.
