✈️ TRAVEL TIP TUESDAY: Download the MPC App! 🇺🇸📱

This is one app I try to tell ALL of my international travelers about: Mobile Passport Control (MPC)

Before your trip, download the app and get your passport information entered and ready to go. Then, when you’re returning to the U.S., you can submit your information through the app and, at participating airports, use the designated MPC line for passport control/immigration.

And trust me - it can save you some serious time! 🙌

When Tommy and I flew home from Amsterdam last week, we landed in the U.S., went through immigration, collected and rechecked our bags, went back through security, AND made it to our gate in less than 45 minutes! 🤯

We absolutely flew through the MPC line while some of the other lines were much longer.

So if you have an international trip coming up and haven’t downloaded the Mobile Passport Control app yet - DO IT before your next trip! 📲

It’s free, it’s easy to use, and it could make your return to the U.S. a whole lot smoother.

But what if you run out of time?

Money can be made again.
Time can’t.

🍀 FRIDAY FUN! 🍀

I have a client who just got back from Ireland, and seeing their pictures has me missing Ireland all over again! 🇮🇪💚

So now I have to know…

Who here has kissed the Blarney Stone?! 💋🪨

If you’ve made the climb, leaned waaaay back, and given that famous stone a kiss, drop your picture in the comments below! 👇

I want to see them! And if Ireland is still on your bucket list… maybe this is your sign. 😉

I’ve only been home from Europe for ONE day... and I’m already dreaming about going back.

There’s just something about Europe - and now I can’t stop thinking about what it’s going to be like at Christmastime. 🎄✨

Just picture it...

You’re walking through a cobblestone square surrounded by twinkling lights. Christmas music is playing. The smell of gingerbread and cinnamon is everywhere. You’ve got a warm mug of Glühwein in your hand.

And tomorrow?

You wake up in another beautiful European city and do it all over again. 🎄✨

Nürnberg → Regensburg → Passau → Salzburg → Melk → Vienna

This is Christmas Markets Along the Danube 2028 - and I'm going.

The question is...who’s coming with me? 🥂❤️

I currently have just 5 cabins reserved for my group, and if this trip has been catching your eye, now’s the perfect time to learn more!

✨ Next Thursday, October 1, I’m hosting a special webinar with my Tauck Sales Manager where we’ll talk about the itinerary, the ship, cabin options, what’s included, pricing and what makes this trip so special.

No commitment - just come see what it’s all about!

👇 I’ll put the webinar sign-up link in the comments below. I’d love to have you join us!

❤️ A big THANK YOU to all of my amazing clients! ❤️

I’m officially back home and back in the office after an incredible trip, and I just want to take a minute to say how grateful I am for each and every one of you.

This trip was especially meaningful because it was an opportunity I earned as a top-producing travel advisor with my host agency - and quite simply, I wouldn’t have opportunities like this without YOU. Every vacation you trust me to plan, every referral you send my way, and every time you choose to support my small business helps make experiences like this possible. I truly cannot thank you enough. ❤️

Now… back to reality! My inbox is currently FULL - and I mean FULL! Messages, quote requests, follow-ups, and trips to work on.

I’m working my way through everything as quickly as I can, so please bear with me over the next few days while I get caught up. If you’re waiting to hear from me and haven’t received a response by this weekend, please don’t hesitate to reach out again. I promise you’re not bothering me!

Thank you again for your patience while I traveled and, most of all, for continuing to trust me with your vacations. I’m so grateful I get to do what I love because of all of you. ❤️🌎✈️

Now… time to tackle that inbox! 😅

DAY 11 - EATING OUR WAY THROUGH AMSTERDAM 🇳🇱

For our last full day in Amsterdam, we decided there was only one appropriate thing to do… eat our way through the city. 😂

And this ended up being one of the BEST food tours we’ve ever done!

We started with warm Glühwein 🍷 and a Dutch tompouce, then headed to one of Amsterdam’s “fast food” spots where you literally buy food out of little vending-machine windows. Of course we had to try a Dutch kroket!

From there, we stopped at a Turkish bakery for stuffed grape leaves and warm cheese börek, followed by a local fish shop where we tried Dutch herring and a shot of jenever, the traditional Dutch spirit that came before gin. 🐟🥃

Next up was a Surinamese deli for chicken sandwiches before heading to the Albert Cuyp Market for two must-tries: fresh stroopwafels and poffertjes - those delicious little Dutch pancakes covered in butter and powdered sugar.

Our final food-tour stop was chicken skewers and fried plantains… and by then we were officially FULL.

This was easily one of the best food tours we’ve done. I learned so much, tried foods I probably never would have ordered on my own, and got to experience just how multicultural Amsterdam really is.

And apparently we weren’t full enough… because that evening we met back up with our new friends and went to a revolving cheese bar. Because when in Amsterdam, you obviously finish a full day of eating with MORE CHEESE. 🧀

Full bellies, new foods, new friends and one pretty amazing last day in Amsterdam. 🇳🇱❤️

DAY 10 - AMSTERDAM 🇳🇱

Another incredible day in Amsterdam and this one had a little bit of everything. ❤️

We started with a visit to the Anne Frank House, and wow… there really are no words. Walking through the actual rooms where Anne Frank, her family, and the others hid for more than two years - and then seeing Anne’s original diary was incredibly moving. It’s one thing to know the story. It’s another to stand in the place where it happened.

From there, the day got a little lighter. We met back up with some of our new cruise friends for limoncello, then hopped on the ferry across the IJ to the A’DAM Lookout.

And because apparently looking at the view wasn’t enough… we rode the Over the Edge swing. Yes, the one that swings you right out over the edge of the building high above Amsterdam!

Then it was time for a traditional Dutch dinner at Moeders - which means “mothers” in Dutch. The restaurant opened in 1990, and the owner asked the original guests to bring their own plate, glass and silverware - and they still set the tables with mismatched dishes today. The walls are absolutely COVERED with hundreds of photos of mothers brought in by guests over the years. It feels quirky, cozy and like you’re sitting down for a Dutch home-cooked meal at Mom’s house. 🇳🇱

And the food is all about traditional Dutch comfort food - things like stamppot, sausage, stewed beef, red cabbage and potatoes. Exactly the kind of meal I wanted to try while we were here!

We finished the night by meeting back up with our friends at a speakeasy for cocktails. 🍸

Such a great day. ❤️🇳🇱

DAY 9 - BACK TO AMSTERDAM 🇳🇱

We said goodbye to the Nieuw Statendam and all of our new friends and started making our way back to Amsterdam… but not without a couple of VERY Dutch stops along the way.

First up - Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to 19 historic windmills. These weren’t built just to look pretty - they’re part of an incredible centuries-old system the Dutch developed to manage water and keep this low-lying land from flooding. Seeing those iconic windmills lined up along the canals felt like stepping straight into a postcard.

Next stop… GOUDA! 🧀 Because obviously you can’t come to the Netherlands and not visit the city that gave Gouda cheese its name. We wandered the charming historic center, grabbed some lunch, saw the beautiful old market square and, of course, sampled some cheese. Gouda has been a center for the cheese trade for hundreds of years, and it was such a fun little town to experience.

Then it was on to Amsterdam and our home for the next few nights - the gorgeous Hotel Estheréa. 😍 This family-run boutique hotel sits right along the historic Singel canal in beautiful 17th-century canal houses, and the inside is EVERYTHING - chandeliers, rich colors, velvet, flowers and so much character. Definitely not your typical hotel!

And we finished the night with dinner at Secret Garden - another wow experience. 🌿✨ Hidden behind an unassuming entrance is this gorgeous, lush restaurant serving Japanese-Peruvian cuisine. Amazing food, cocktails and atmosphere… the perfect way to end the day.

Not a bad way to start Amsterdam Part 2. 🇳🇱❤️

DAY 8 - ONE LAST SEA DAY 🚢🌊

Well… the North Sea is a doozy.

Our final day onboard was a sea day, and let’s just say I spent most of it relaxing, taking it easy, and being VERY thankful for my motion sickness patch. 😵‍💫

But what a week. ❤️

Our time aboard the Nieuw Statendam is one I’ll never forget. The incredible destinations. The excursions that had me asking “is this real life?!” more than once. The fjords. The food. The live music. And maybe best of all, the new friends we made along the way.

A huge thank you to Holland America and KHM Travel Group for hosting us and giving us the opportunity to experience this incredible itinerary firsthand.

Norway absolutely stole my heart, and this cruise reminded me once again why I love what I do so much. 🌎❤️

Now… back to Amsterdam for a few more days of adventure! 🇳🇱

DAY 7: PART 2 - SKJOLDEN, NORWAY 🇳🇴

Skjolden deserves a second post… because as amazing as walking llamas was, THIS PLACE. We woke up, opened the curtains to our balcony and just stared. 😍

What I didn’t fully appreciate until we were there was just how DEEP into the Norwegian fjords we had traveled. Skjolden sits at the very end of the Sognefjord - Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. Our ship had traveled roughly 127 miles inland from the open sea to reach this tiny village tucked between the mountains.

And that sail in… I don’t know that I’ll ever forget it. Turquoise glacial water. Bright green fields. Blue rivers. Waterfalls pouring down the mountainsides. Tiny villages tucked along the shoreline. And mountains surrounding us in every direction.

We opened those curtains that morning completely in awe… and somehow it only got better.

I’ve traveled to some incredible places, but I have never seen scenery like this in my life.

Pictures don’t capture it. Videos don’t capture it. You simply have to stand there and see it with your own eyes.

Norway, you have completely stolen my heart. 🇳🇴❤️
