Calling all Charleston pup parents! ✨🐶 Your dog’s social calendar is about to be jam-packed with tail-waggin’ fun this August! From splash days to street strolls, here’s what’s happening around town:
📅 August 9 – Dog Day Afternoon at Splash Island (Mt. Pleasant)
💦 $15 in advance | 10 AM–3 PM | Off-leash splash time for pups only!
📅 August 10 – Second Sunday on King Street
🛍️ Leash up and explore local shops, bites, and Charleston charm.
📅 August 12 – RiverDogs Game + Dorchester Paws
⚾️ Adoption Night at The Joe = Baseball + rescue pups = best night ever.
📅 August 16 – Dog Day Afternoon at Splash Zone (James Island)
💧 Round 2 of the pup pool party! $15 in advance | 10 AM–3 PM
📅 August 17 – Doggie Days at Magnolia Plantation
🌺 Vendors, music, treats, and garden strolls with your best friend.
📅 August 28 – Yappy Hour at James Island County Park
🍹 Off-leash play, live music & drinks | 5:30–7:30 PM | $2 park entry
🎟️ Most events require leashes & good manners. Bring water, smiles, and your best “who’s a good dog?” voice.
