Well the Okie Boys Adventures crew came out to the 903 Fishing May Madness tournament! We grinded so hard with only prefishing the day before for like 4 hours, but those 4 hours were all I needed to get a feel of how these fish were operating with the water temp being so much hotter than the lakes back home becuase Its a much smaller body of water! These fish were full blown summer patterns! Even with the disadvantages of being out of my element so to speak with this super clear water, I stuck to my guns and just read the water like I usually do when im prefishing! I kept seeing bigger fish that I honestly tried to ignore at first because the plan i had from yesterday had nothing to do with solo roaming fish but pile picking! But these big fish kept coming off the bottom to come feed around these brush piles, and that kind of keyed me in there could be roaming fish out in the deepest channels I had around and thats what I did put my troller motor down and ran about a mile and a half in an hour and seriously start upgrading the quality of fish I had! Finished out chasing big roaming whites and was able to secure that #4 spot and make a little money back for the gas!! Thanks again to everyone who made this tournament possible! Ill be ready to come again next year! If anyone's possibly interested in also attending the tournament this time we also had a non livescope division so just about anyone can feel confident to come down and bring their family to have a memorable time!
