We were proud to partner with the talented CTE Welding students from the Schoolcraft CTE Center for a recent project at our ProAmpac Manistique facility.
Our team provided the materials and design specifications, and the students took it from there — fabricating a custom set of steps and a platform to our requirements. They even had the opportunity to work alongside our skilled maintenance team during installation.

This collaboration is a great example of how hands-on, project-based learning prepares students with real-world skills and experience that directly align with industry needs.

ProAmpac Celebrates World Food Safety Day at Franklin Park & Hanover Park Facilities

Our Franklin Park and Hanover Park locations proudly joined the global observance of World Food Safety Day earlier this month, underscoring our commitment to food safety and high-quality packaging solutions.

Aligned with this year’s global theme, “Science in Action,” the team focused on the power of handwashing. Through engaging demonstrations, ProAmpac showcased how proper hand hygiene supports contamination prevention and plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of food packaging across the supply chain.

ProAmpac continues to lead with purpose, applying science-backed practices and innovation to help ensure food safety from the packaging line to the consumer table.

Last week, our teams across the globe came together to celebrate ProAmpac’s 5th Annual Global Wellness Week—a dedicated time to refocus, recharge, and prioritize our health and well-being.

With this year’s theme, “Fueling a Healthier You,” we explored daily topics like stress reduction, immune-boosting nutrition, movement, sleep & recovery, and anti-inflammatory practices. Through team activities, wellness challenges, and mindful moments, employees showed up with energy, curiosity, and a commitment to self-care.
