The Cell Block A two cell jail from the 1930s converted to a one room boutique hotel in Clifton, TX. A little history? A perfect compilation of scrappy stories.

Jerry Hill (used to be a constable and told about putting Guess Who in and using it as a drunk tank; may have to use fake names; also told of old men using it to play dominoes in after the jail wasn't in use), Mary Orbeck (told about it having the only "public" telephone in town).

FallFest 2024 is THIS Saturday!🍂

Get ready for a full day of fun, food, and festivities in Downtown Clifton, Texas! Here’s everything you need to know for a smooth and exciting day at FallFest:

When: Saturday, October 19
Time: 10 AM – 5 PM
Location: Downtown Clifton

Parking & Transportation
Parking will be available at the CTYF Fairgrounds (108 E 7th St, Clifton, TX 76634). Event attendees ARE allowed to go past the 219 bridge closure barricades at Cubs Corner to access the parking area. Once parked, walk to Legacy Park to hop on our convenient transportation that will drop you off right at the event entrance.

Enjoy a day filled with local vendors, live entertainment, delicious food, games, and activities for all ages! FallFest is the perfect way to celebrate the season and explore everything our charming downtown has to offer.
