As we begin to wrap up our winter season in Alaska it’s only fitting to give a special shoutout to our incredible guides who got us through it and had a great time providing joy and awesome experiences to our guests! We battled one of the coldest winters in the past 4 decades and our guides endured it all to keep pushing and have fun.

Shoutout to Colter, Owen, Jen, Ramon, Kody, Janey, Matt, Josh and our company dog, Miles! These guys kept the wheels spinning, kept showing up in the brutal cold and kept everyone safe throughout the winter. We fought through darkness, 60 below temps, had a scuffle with a moose (she won), took tons of great pictures and found the lights many times!

If you took a tour with us in Fairbanks or have ever taken a tour with us, give us a like if you enjoyed hanging with your guide - we love spending time with you, telling corny jokes and showing you awesome places.

Now time to get ready for Yellowstone where we plan to have yet another awesome season. From the North Pole, Thank You!!

The bears are back in town, The bears are back in town!🎵🎶

Not quite in town, but we have been seeing so many grizzlies on our tours recently!

As we enter into fall, grizzlies are preparing for hibernation by consuming up to 20,000 calories in a day! This is a period called hyperphagia and we can see bears spending up to 22 hours eating as their activity increases in search for food. 🐻🫐

We had an incredible day on tour yesterday! Every one of our guests yesterday had the thrill of watching a grey wolf up close! We spent a good portion of our morning watching this member of the Wapiti pack hang out across the river from a bison carcass. We also got to watch it cross the river!
