A Farm Visit with a High Tech Twist 🐄

Travel often introduces us to things we wouldn't expect and this visit in Spain was a perfect example.

This farm has 300–400 cows, and instead of following a traditional milking schedule, the cows voluntarily walk over to a robotic milking station when they're ready. They even get a massage!

With farms in Spain facing challenges finding workers, technology is helping make operations more productive while changing the way everyday work gets done.

An unexpected stop, an impressive use of technology, and another reminder that innovation can be found in the most surprising places.

A new journey has begun! Bob Campbell is currently in Spain walking the Camino de Santiago, one of the worlds most famous pilgrimage routes.

Over the coming weeks, well share pictures from his journey. From the towns and landscapes, he discovers the people, experiences, and lessons along the way.

Fun fact: If the Camino looks familiar, you may have seen the 2010 film The Way, directed by Emilio Estevez and starring Martin Sheen. The movie follows a father who travels to Spain to walk the Camino de Santiago.
