✈️🇮🇹 This will be me in a week and a half… and there’s a whole lot more to it than just getting to travel! ❤️

Yes, I get to visit some pretty incredible places as a travel advisor, and I’ll never take that privilege for granted. But here’s the thing… I don’t just go for me. I go for YOU! 🌎✨

I taste the food, meet the people, explore the little hidden gems, find those “you absolutely cannot miss this!” places, and experience destinations beyond the typical tourist stops.

Because when I come home, I want to do more than just tell you where to go. I want to help you experience it in a way that feels right for YOU. Your interests, your must-dos, your budget, your kind of adventure. ❤️

Every little discovery helps me build better itineraries, make more thoughtful recommendations, and help my clients spend less time wondering if they’re making the right choices and more time making memories.

So yes, I’m headed to Italy! 🇮🇹 But I’m also adding more firsthand experience to my travel toolbox, and my clients get to benefit from every bit of it.

What a blessing it is to have clients, celebrating their anniversary, an incredible and wild adventure in the heart of the untamed land of Iceland… experiencing the phenomenon of the northern lights… And they thought to share it with me! These are the kind of relationships I hope to obtain. They’re not forced or even enticed to share these moments, but, because of the journey we’ve been on in the process of planning, and because of their joy in this awesome adventure, they thought to share these special moments with me.
This world is filled with so many amazing sites and wonders. What’s holding you back from planning yours?!
Time is a thief… There’s no better time than now to plan YOUR awesome adventure!

Down a cave… in the middle of the Mayan jungle… in Mexico. And yes, I’m rappelling! 😂

Because when I tell my clients about an adventure, I’d rather have actually done it than just read about it.

This isn’t even my first time doing this adventure!

🇮🇸✨ CLIENT UPDATE: ICELAND! ✨🇮🇸

Okay, THIS is one of my favorite parts of my job. 🥹

The actual fruits of my labor… showing up in my phone as happy clients sending me pictures from somewhere AMAZING saying, “Look where we are!!!” 😍

My sweet couple has officially landed in Iceland and they are absolutely living their best lives. They’re making their way around Highway 1 on the Iceland Ring Road and already checking some pretty epic things off the list…

…and then my client sends me these photos as her husband is SUITING UP TO DIVE BETWEEN THE TECTONIC PLATES.

Ummm… EXCUSE ME?! 🤯😂

How cool is THAT?!

I mean, I plan a lot of vacations… but every now and then I get a client update that makes me stop and think, “Dang. This is really freaking cool.” 😂

And this weekend alone, I have clients in Iceland, Scotland AND Mexico. 🌎✈️

I seriously never take it for granted that people trust me with their hard-earned vacation time and then let me follow along while they’re out there actually LIVING IT.

That part? ❤️ THAT is the good stuff.

The world is your oyster, friends. 🌎🦪

For decades, this beautiful woman has been dreaming to take the trip that she is now on! She has sent me dozens of pictures, fun facts she has learned along the way already, encounters with magnificent people, sites she has been fantasizing to see up close and personal with the wind kissing her face and the sunshine on her skin…
being a travel advisor is so much more than booking a room or a tour. It’s listening and allowing for my clients hopes, dreams and inspiration to come alive. It’s teasing out the trip of a lifetime and sitting back as it unfolds, witnessing it exceed her very own expectations. It’s receiving elated late night messages with pictures and insight from a client who has turned into a friend because of the relationship that has been built in the process of the planning.
more than a travel advisor… I become a copilot, an advocate, a friend, a confidant, a problem, solver, and someone to rely on and share all your ‘oh my goodness’ moments with!

This is what I woke up to this morning, bright and early, a little past 4 AM… elated texts and pictures from my overjoyed client so excited to be in the destination she dreamed to explore since she was a very little girl. Her itinerary is packed with every whimsical breathtaking adventure she wants to experience .
💕THIS IS WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO! 💕
Literally making little girls dreams come to life! From preparing her perfectly packaged, professionally crafted trip, within her budget… we walked this planning out one step at a time, at a pace she could keep up with, with complete peace in her heart.
A solo traveler who hasn’t been away for over 30 years… I’m incredibly proud of her for taking on such a brave journey! And I’m incredibly privileged to be the one to breathe life into her lifelong dream getaway! ✈️

A few of us local agents from our sweet travel-agent family got together in Charlotte today for an AMAZING tradeshow hosted by the wonderful team at Vacation Express! ✈️🌴

And let me tell you… we were in learning mode! 🤓

We got laser-focused training on specific resorts and destinations in places like Curaçao, Mexico, St. Thomas, Belize and so many others. And this is exactly the kind of stuff I LOVE soaking up!

Because here’s the thing…

Not all resorts are created equal. 😉
And not every vacation is going to be the right vacation for every person.

One client may want a gorgeous beach and a quiet, romantic vibe. Another may want amazing food, activities, nightlife and a resort where they never have to sit still. Someone else may care most about the room, the pool, the kids’ amenities, the snorkeling, the location… you get the idea!

There are SO many little details that can make or break whether a resort is truly the right fit.

That’s why we keep learning. We keep traveling. We ask ALL the questions. We inspect properties. We talk to the people who know these resorts inside and out. And we share what we learn with each other.

Because when you trust me with your vacation, my goal isn’t to just find you a resort.

It’s to find the right resort, in the right destination, for YOU. ❤️

So you can show up, exhale, and enjoy your getaway exactly the way you pictured it… and maybe even a little better. 🌎✨

I’m so thankful to be surrounded by a group of agents who genuinely cheer each other on, share knowledge and want to keep getting better at what we do.

Weddings can be stressful. They’re both the most magical wonderful day of your life and a lot to plan! Assembling your wedding team, the people who advocate for you, the ones who will stand in your corner to ensure your best interests are protected… is essential! It is so incredibly important to know the character of the ones you’ve chosen to stand by your side.

My sweet bride is getting married in May 2027. Not only is she planning a destination wedding, but this is her first time traveling outside the country, her first time at an all-inclusive resort, and, like every bride, she has a vision and a dream that everything will fall beautifully into place.

As her travel advisor for her destination wedding, my job is to make the planning process for her wedding party as seamless and stress-free as possible and when things don’t go exactly as planned, that I’m there to advocate redirect, correct, and ensure my Bride and her wedding party are taken care of…. and that I did!

Waking up to emails like this is why I do what I do! My bride’s peace and happy heart as the outcome of one of those stressful wedding planning moments is the gold seal of a job Well done!

You know THIS…

Did you know that if you go to Turks & Caicos during a certain time of year, many popular restaurants, shops, and resorts will shut down entirely or go into renovation mode? That’s right! As with most Caribbean islands, hurricane season is a threat to Turks and Caicos. Local establishments use this time to shut down, refurbish, touchup, and prepare for the upcoming season of travelers. If you travel during the month of September, moving into October, and you’re unaware of this, you will likely be very disappointed when you arrive in destination only to find yourself in a ghost town with a lot of closures and amenities not available.

I have a sweet client currently prepared to travel mid October. The timing of their arrival is perfectly set welcoming them with over 90% of the island in full operation and ready to welcome guests! I was able to secure a reservation for them at an excellent rate at a luxury resort due to the impeccable timing as well.

And because of the elevated relationship I have with many luxury properties, I have special privileges and benefits like $100 food and beverage credit, free breakfast, early check-in and check out, and welcome amenities I can pass on to my clients to elevate their stay.

There are still a handful of things that will not be available but my clients are prepared. I shared all of this knowledge before they even put a deposit down. They know every single establishment in the entire area of Grace Bay that will still be closed. They know which pool will be unavailable and which restaurants will not be open on property. And since they are coming in the day after their luxury resort is reopening, they have the upper hand on room location and they will enjoy the brand new refreshed look.

Having just visited Turks and Caicos, I also have the inside scoop and firsthand knowledge how long it takes to get through customs, the lay of the land, upscale and relaxed dining, shopping, excursions, and answers to all the questions my clients have who are traveling to this amazing destination!
